lol! i watched him a few weeks ago performing alongside steve aoki. was freakin awesome everyone literally wnet crazy. hes from canada! and so is deadmau5 and tiga. hehe..
Cool, these electro dudes can spank ass with their wild sets! Wondering will Deadmaus be performing here in the near future? Hmm Tiga, hes been in the charts for quite some time now. Since you mention about him, it is worth checking out his latest album?
QUOTE(matt85 @ Oct 17 2009, 05:46 PM)
What, dude, you are one lucky chap.
So far, only Kid M spinned in KL. These DIM MAK (The Bloody Beetroots too) guys really know how to pump the shit outta the crowd.
I was lucky too that MSTRKRFT were at SG Zouk when i was there
Kid M spinned here few times for some lame event i think LOL! Dim Mak eh, im sure you will find Shinichi Osawa's tunes rocking! Japanese kakis is building up the scene in asia, they are dead serious. No wonder Richie and Dubfire said there are lots of good stuff coming up from Japan!
Edit: Err guys, in my last post i said that i will be opening another EDM topic soon, i really need help from you. Maybe you can do a cover of a genre you interested in? Give me some feedback alright, cheers
This post has been edited by Vaiz: Oct 17 2009, 08:18 PM
Kid M spinned at Zouk KL once. Yup Osawa's one of them too, insanely awesome DIM MAK crews
Actually i think there would be no difference by opening a new thread. Most people just post commercials anyway. Oh well, you can change it to a proper title, and that's all.
I'll try to contribute in any means, if you do create one.
Yea, i love Star Guitar very much! Have his The One album, an excellent album!
We ignore those kids that post shit. Thread starter is not willing to cooperate so it made me no other choice. Plus there will be lots of useful information and background / origin of EDM on the first page in the new and clean thread that contributed by you us.
Hahaha, same here mate! But dont say master of none, i believe everyone has their own abilities By the way, sick tune there!
Yes this is what i wanted to hear, appreciate your feedback. Will proceed to work on it when i have every single seconds to spare starting by tomorrow. Comply and save all the informations in a txt file, send it to me, i will finalize everything and of course there will be a credit given.
To those of you that hang out here regularly, please feel free to give me feedback, its great if you guys can contribute to a genre of your choice to the new EDM thread. Matt, what genre you gonna cover?
My recommendation of the week is one electronic rock / electro dance that will surely make you go pogo!
Also check out the Shinichi Osawa remix, it has alot more vibe in it!
Retro hippie chicks Well, i can cover most EDMs (except gabba or speedcore ), so i think ill do the ones nobody wanna cover
I dont think ill be covering those. Im working on a few genre right now, update me with your progress.
Edit: LOL Matt! Yup im going, but im worried about the tickets gonna sold out. There is some delay, me probably gonna reach there around 10+

Hi guys, just wanted to update that we had a chance to interview Tiff Lacey this week, we hope to share it with you here. Tiff will be hosting our podcast at the end of the week. If you're into vocal trance, perhaps you might also enjoy our episode last week, we had Lo-Fi Sugar (from JOC's Never Fade Away) hosting it. You can listen to all the episodes here alongside your other favourite radio shows. I hope through this, we're putting Malaysia on the map for trance music. We appreciate all the support from our local friends.
Will head over to check out the site, keep up the good work.

Agree, Speedzone 2009 sucks. Packed with kids, no beer served, failed crowd respond, weird sound system.
Dont expect much from Marco, but his sets was awesome, the beats just kept pounding! Experienced Eddie for the first time and gotta say he is outstanding! Although i did not get to watch his whole performance but just as expected, flawlessly mixed, great track selections, superb showmanship!
Sorry mate, was late on that night, all tickets ran out, too packed to reach you

This tune is really sick, by Armin van Buuren
And more dubstep:
Maybe you can help us contribute to the dubstep genre for the forthcoming new EDM topic?
QUOTE(lost_destiny @ Oct 27 2009, 07:48 PM)
Excuse me, but may I ask what kind of genre of techno is this?? I love these kinds of techno..
This is not techno, call it whatever you fancy. For me, its a disgrace to EDM.

ps - speedzone, marco v rawks big time as always. eddie, hmmm dunno y, its just turns me off. the bass is off/pecah. the crowd, full of young guns. they dont feel the tunes, harmony of the music. looking 4wd to 13 dec, avb in zouk. or its just rumours?
Damn those crowds, f***ing noobs! Nobody shouts EDDIE, EDDIE, EDDIE when the mc gave hint... But there is one chick just beside me, went frenzy for Eddie, which is a good thing

Edit: Matt, as you said before, nobody gonna care what EFX the DJs will use. Eddie dive? LOL, seriously theres no such need, if not later he kena tahan by authorities!

The remix contest winner gonna be release through In Charge? A very good exposure, but its already November 1st now wei Im looking forward for this conference, hope this one will be our own WMC with lots of international players coming to our shores in the future.
You said Marcus Schossow? I hope i can make it that day, wanted to taste some Swedish Meatballs, Vodkas and of course lots of filthy moog choons!
This gathering wouldnt be successful if is without you! I think Matt gonna be there too!

Vaiz, Say Hello eh ? Reminded me of the good old days. Tiesto's days

I thought of that way earlier LOL! Thats really a good idea, but the percentage of those who gonna follow me is probably 4% while another 6% will hit the club that play trashy mambo jambo. Believe me
Its weekend now, so let me move your night with some of my top tunes at the moment:
Kevin Gorman - Insomnia (Joseph Capriati Dark Night Remix)

Guetta is house, Tiesto is trance! I cant think of any other trance jocks that collaborate with mambo producers except Tijs
As for now, you, me and also not forgetting Strongbow! No love for Schossow from our fellow forumers?
I hope the line up will be Woods warming up the floor, Preach to deliver his techyness and then Schossow wrap up the night with filthy infectious choons
Yeah hopefully that's the way. Wishing for Advanced
Gosh, Advanced? I thought you might wish for either the insane Go Get Vodka or the trancy In Russia Vodka Drinks You?
By the way, in the last few pages i posted that there will soon be a Simon Patterson essential mix coming up, so finally this is the time we had been waiting for!
