I got her from a petshop in JB that imported them in from Thailand but their parents are from Taiwan.

It cost RM2600, the petshop owner said she is just testing to see if there are any demand for this dog. There were 3 of them in the petshop, 2 females and 1 male but the male has already been bought when I went there. But Babo is the most beautiful out of the 3 although she is really quite a handful now.

I actually was preparing to get her from a local breeder but I read from a chinese forum that 2 girls bought their corgi from a local breeder and one of them had hips dysplasia which is hereditary so I decided against getting from a local breeder because I'm afraid of getting one with the disease which can never be cured.

Yes I took her for checkup yesterday and also for injection so today her appetite like not very good.

She got tearstains but the doctor say its normal.

And I wanna ask you guys, normally for a 3 month old puppy, is it normal for them to shit many times at night?

Because even though Babo shit after her dinner and before going to sleep.

The next morning I still find 2 piles of shit in the cage. Are they supposed to shit so much?

Haha thanks but I'm not sure if I am very lucky because yesterday she bit me on the hands and it bleed. I think its because she is teething now and yesterday she was biting an old slipper in the house and I took the slipper away from her then she got very yuppy. She keep jumping up and down and trying to bite my hands, I was not fast enough and she jumped up and bit me then I quite angry that time so I turned away from her and ignore her for 30 mins.

Here's more pics of her in sleeping smile.gif

1. did you feed her a lot?
it can be the food dat cause her to poo a lot.
some kibbles contains rice/wheat/gluten, it'll cause da dog to poo poo more cos it cant be digested.

2. how many times do u feed her per day?
for a puppy it should be around 2-3times per day, since she's around 3months if i'm not mistaken..too much meal will cause her 2 poo poo more too.

my pups owez poo a lot. dunno y, probably they ate too much. cant stop myself from being da maid, cleaning everything.. ya she might be teething..did u buy any toys for her 2 chew on?

Yes she's a little devil. And I read female corgis are actually more devilish than their male counterparts.

Yes actually corgis are very popular dogs in many asian countries such as Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Hongkong but Malaysia I never see anyone with the dog before. Maybe because of the price and also not many breeders.

1.I feed her according to the package instructions which says 90-150g. I feed her about 100g and she also never finish them all. She is now eating ANF puppy which is the food given by the petshop but this brand of dog food make her poo really very smelly and I read on a few forums that many people experience this also, but I have ordered Orijen Puppy and will switch to that soon since Orijen contains no grains which I think like you said grains contributes to his excessive poo.

2.The petshop told me they feed her 2 times a day but I read saying puppies should be fed 3 times a day so I feed him at 7.30am, 12pm and 5.30pm. Maybe I should cut to 2 times a day?

Have owez been housebroken? I always put Babo in the toilet where shes supposed to poo and pee but she will always come out and do it somewhere else so I will block the toilet with a piece of cardboard so she cannot come out until she has finished peeing and pooing. Is this method right because this is the only way for her to do it on the right spot.

ya if she's still small need 2 feed her around 2-3 times, according to da amount u feed her, whether will she feel hungry if there's oni 2 meals or not.

i let them tried few brands b4, n so far da best was Orijen. Blackwood is ok too. din get da chance 2 try california natural. not good to change their diet often, they'll get stomach upset.
i've tried housebreaking aids but they din work at all. vinegar smells bad to me..cant take it..
baking soda oni works on my bed..

I need serious help here. My dog has a skin problem so we went to a vet. The vet gave us 3 medication.
1. Fungus
2. Allergy
3. Antibiotics

Thing is, he hate those medicine. If mix in his food also he will not finish it. He will specifically spit those medicine out. I had to wrestle him, open his mouth and then force him eat it which often gag him is what I hate most.

For the past one week, we have been feeding it nothing but Orijen. However, we dont see any improvements. I think for now, I would like to say Orijen could be the culprit since Casper is a westie, a double coated pup which Orijen's 70% meat causes it to be too heaty for him?

Anyway, I am switching back to Eaglepack this weekend. The last puppy pack for him before he turns 1 at Oct. I hope the rashes on his body will go away. Poor furkid, dont have treats (biscal, dentastix, greenies, milk powder etc) all taken away.

Question for today:
1. How old should I feed him milk powder until?

2. My pup is 10 months old and he has had Nutri Source, Eaglepack and Orijen but now going back to Eaglepack. Is that OK to change 3 brands since birth?

3. What are the possible causes of rashes on dogs? We shower him twice a week now so he'd feel better and cleaner.

4. HOW DO I GET HIM TO EAT HIS MEDICINE?!

Ok thanks I will observe and see how much she can eat normally. Because now she just took the jab so appetite not very good. Wait for her to get better first.

Orijen should be very good if not the best but it is very expensive. Do you know anywhere that sells less then the retail price? I bought it at RM110 for a 7kg pack at buddypetwagon.com and there is no petshop in JB that sells Orijen dogfood.

I think I'm gonna try the housebreaking aid because I am quite desperate and I dont care about the smell, just hope it will work successfully.

This seems to be a good method but I think it only works when you confine your puppy to a small area for example a room. If not i think he will choose a few spots to do his business in.

silent treatment means sth like a ignore him..i don talk to him for maybe 10 minutes or 15 minutes...depending on what he did...
and before i bought the wee wee pad i already saw he chose his fav spot to do his business so i started leaving newspaper there...so even after i bought the wee wee pads...he did his business right on the pads because thats his chosen spot already...

Pennywise, my boyfriend's brother have a short coat chiwawa and he also experienced the same thing a few months ago. They tried changing the food brands and even tried Eagle Pack too but to no avail also. In the end they found a good vet that finally told them that his dog may have encountered some type of bacteria(i don know which) and gave his a jab and finally he got better..but the vet also advised not to feed him any food with chicken...and if must have meat, preferabbly feed him lamb meat would be better for his skin too..
This was from their experience la, but of course im not so sure about your puppy k hmm.gif

hope your puppy will recover soon k penny ^^
