do it man.... imagine the cooling capabilities for the GC.... not to mention with the mobo upside down, itll be easier to do cable management since the connectors are closer now...plus the stock holes on the divider plate are in the perfect location for the BTX style mod imho....just do it wei...sell ur soul if u have to...just friggin do it! user posted image

was bored....and decided to do something to muh case.....

added a 120mm fan to help with cooling the rams...zip tied them to the fan thats already on the XP-120. kinda kills my cable management though....

probably wont be using this setup for long...worry the extra weight might be bad for the XP-120 and mounting mechanism and proc it self... well see...

i also added a fan in the HDD cage to help with cooling the GCs... posted this in the 8 series thread...click on spoiler to view...

looking at the G7 A07 and 007.

the only difference between the cases are the front panel and the HDD bay....everything else is the same... if only lian li would sell the front panel and hdd cage seperately...then theyll come one step close to satisfying everyone.

people can choose which front panel, which hdd cage they want.

actually imho they should just abolish the hdd cage in the 007. vibrates like mad

reverse ATX...aka "BTX style".

the REAL BTX has been dropped i think (except mebbe for branded PCs). hence the reason why alot of people just refer to it as BTX.

air flow??? the front is exhaust ler.. the back is intake... somemore one of the hottest components in a PC they put exhaust there...and worst part is at the bottom somemore... i think those morons working in lian li forgotten that hot air rises doh.gif

yes its a good case...

disadvantage
1/ side panel fan is huge...brings in lots of dust than normal

2/ HDD cage. vibrates. can easily solve with things like putting the thicker black double sided tape on the hdd.

he cn make an acrylic window for you and use the original mounting holes to screw on the acrylic

G7 is around RM300 if im not mistaken....

BUT

still got meh??? i tot ATE dont have anymore stock?? even heard it was discontinued already.

if ATE no more stock id recommend going for the PC-A07B

same exact internal design just the front panel looks different. also does not come with the side patent fan i think. but that can be bought seperately for around RM50 i think
