The fangrill was come from previous user, so I dont have 80mm fan, might as well put it down there for uv reactive laugh.gif

i believe the brushed alu surface is sexy enough.... wub.gif
nice rig there....if u are using uv setup, then i believe u need uv fans for ur cooler also...
else, let it be all black setup inside ur casing... brows.gif
*
Yeah, I have uv down there, but I love the cooler fans, its sanyo denki H series, 1 fan produce more than 100cfm with less than 40dba. Got it from AllnGap. Black theme should be nice but those two uv down there will be wasted. But I think that's it for the moment, I love the look of my casing, lian li surely sexy wub.gif

This is the cable management done after change new mobo last weekend,
I realise my V2000 air flow arent really good,
anyone have suggestion to mod it?

I am thinking to open 3 x 120mm blow hole at the top panel,
and add a blow hole at the acrylic plate there...

current air flow direction is rear intake,
front also intake and psu area exhaust...

wOOt, nice casing, much much bigger than mine, I can only drool on yours drool.gif

It's like the way I present my OEM PC-7 last time ... haha ..

@cschun86
Change your CPU cooler direction facing bottom with a fan attach to it ..

reverse ur rear case fan to exhaust ..

then take out some PCI slot cover to provide air across graphic card ..

cschun, v2000 in action is something we all drool about.......... the amount of space....... really very very nice for modding

well try to get some aero slot, will help a lot especially u have a single slot GC.....and get a fan for ur TR extreme 120, work better as this babe is design to work with fan.

opening the top for blow hole dun help much, unless u got something hot up there. may be u can get a ex-33 to mount on ur 5.25" bay, it will help a lot there...

Bro, did u consider that the heat from ur northbridge which is supposes to rise and move along the heatpipe to the fins but now its moving to the southbridge instead ?

My suggestion is to mount ur fan on the TRUE. Better solution. Add a stronger intake on the Optical drive bay, it'll help to draw in more cool air.

As u all sugested,
the cooler direction has been changed,
2 fan add, one intake and another exhaust....
got temp drop around 3-4 C,

now idle is 43C,
full load not yet tested...
hmm, adding a hdd cage in the 5.25" bay,
which got 80mm fan will drop the temperature further more?
thinking to get the hdd cage from ah lian now...

Sorry to hijack the thread and I do not know if asked before because I don't really have the time to go through the entire thread...

I'm interested in getting a Lian Li casing as well. With a budget of 300 for the casing, what casing can I get ? and which shop or person can I approach in Lowyat to do this ?

I hope to get it by tomorrow rclxms.gif

P/S: it'll be good if you can recommend a PSU as well (budget 300-400), cuz I've no idea if it comes with a PSU or not... I think I'll be getting a 550W watt PSU though ~

Any help I can get would be helpful as it's going to be my 1st DIY desktop project nod.gif

Thanks in advance !!! biggrin.gif
