just wonder how the heat percipitation compare to aluminium and secc case,
since this case just hybrid of two material...

once you mod the case and add an acrylic window, doesn't it scratch too easily? is there anyway to prevent this?
*
another method to prevent it from scratch,
get a tinted film for car mirror,
and put it on the acrylic...

aio .. acrylic scratch then just get a new replacement piece about RM15 only mah ...

drill some mounting holes or mount it with double tape ...

If the window tint scratched it also meaning replacing the window it self loh ..

coz removing the window tint is not easy and most of time would scratch the acrylic during the process as well...
*
hmm, maybe tinting is not a good idea...

RM15?
where can get at this cheap price?
I bought 1feet x 2 feet (2 square feet) last week,
cost me RM18 already...
it is the thinnest acrylic summore >.<

hahah get SS TJ-07 and ask uncle mod to BTX style and u would have removable tray ...

or u could do the same to Lian Li PC-A10....
*
haha, modding to BTX style is a great idea,
but the TJ07 mobo tray arent easy to remove.... sweat.gif
unscrew and take it out would be faster tongue.gif

unless he can find the old batch for TJ-07 it would great to mod it to btx

all the new batch comes with transparent side panel doh.gif

why didn't liverstone make it a separate accessories like lilian did doh.gif
*
maybe becoz not much ppl want to mod it into BTX,
just thinking u spend over RM1.1k money to get a casing,
you still wana mod it >.<|||

and seperate accessories doesnt work well also,
coz usually it is not cheap cry.gif

I think thats why SST just stick with the most demand one,
TJ07 with side window ready...

This is the cable management done after change new mobo last weekend,
I realise my V2000 air flow arent really good,
anyone have suggestion to mod it?

I am thinking to open 3 x 120mm blow hole at the top panel,
and add a blow hole at the acrylic plate there...

current air flow direction is rear intake,
front also intake and psu area exhaust...

It's like the way I present my OEM PC-7 last time ... haha ..

@cschun86
Change your CPU cooler direction facing bottom with a fan attach to it ..

reverse ur rear case fan to exhaust ..

then take out some PCI slot cover to provide air across graphic card ..
*
hmm, if make the cpu cooler blowing downwards,
no doubt it will cool down the proc,
but arent it will mess the air flow?

ohya, any idea where to get the pci slot cover with holes one?

cschun, v2000 in action is something we all drool about.......... the amount of space....... really very very nice for modding

well try to get some aero slot, will help a lot especially u have a single slot GC.....and get a fan for ur TR extreme 120, work better as this babe is design to work with fan.

opening the top for blow hole dun help much, unless u got something hot up there. may be u can get a ex-33 to mount on ur 5.25" bay, it will help a lot there...
*
haha, it really have a lot of space,
can let me put 12hdd >.<"

hmm, will change the mouting of the TRUE 120 later,
need to go back home to take the fan clip 1st.
in the current vertical mounting, i cant put a fan on it,
bcoz the fan clip cant put in sweat.gif

As u all sugested,
the cooler direction has been changed,
2 fan add, one intake and another exhaust....
got temp drop around 3-4 C,

now idle is 43C,
full load not yet tested...
hmm, adding a hdd cage in the 5.25" bay,
which got 80mm fan will drop the temperature further more?
thinking to get the hdd cage from ah lian now...

cschun86, idle quite high......mind to give some spec over the cpu....

the hdd cage is not a necessary, but is a cool addiiton though hehe......

josh, but budget 300 there are few choices........just go to ate and have a look at the real thing.
*
ya...
tats why i said it is not suitable for AC >.<"
and currently no more budget for me to go for water cooling...

my spec are:
Intel C2Q Q6600 G0 @ 1.30V 2.4Ghz
Gskill 2 x 2Gb PC8000 @ 2.1V 1066mhz 5-5-5-15
Foxconn Mars
His HD3850 256mb
Corsair HX620

other thing i think no need d, right?

@ cschun86,

I find it kinda strange you mount the TRUE that way. I mean, would the fans be able to get air by mounting it that way?Its like the fan are touching the case floor already.
*
Hmm, initial I mount it vertically,
hmm, the fan cant mount in with the clip,
and my fan cant use the fan clip as well, so need to mount it is way
later need to find some wire or thread to ikat it so tat i can change it back to vertical...

ur sata cable...dont make it loop around like that...hide it under the IDE cable.
*
ok, changed the loop already~

Well, if thats the case, i guess it would be better without the other fan on the TRUE though. Only use 1 fan setup would be better dont you think? smile.gif
*
before change to current setup,
it is like in the picture,
and they suggested me to mount it horizontally,
and add fan...
previously the rear fan is intake one...

now thinking to mount it back vertically,
and find something to mount the 2 fan vertically.

IC, but it was really tight in there huh even at either mounting setup. The setup above almost have the TRUE clashing with the Mar's NB and the bottom of the case as well.. rclxub.gif
*
ya, both mounting are kinda tight,
thats why thinking to change casing right now...

actually it is already crash the NB or mars,
but i just remove one pieve of the foxconn words,
then it fits ngam ngam at there...
