QUOTE(Candy12 @ Sep 23 2019, 10:53 PM) You guys want to pay RM79 and expect truly unlimited access with your Unifi Air? Their Unifi Mobile Bebas Weekly which costs more by RM1 if you renew for 4 weeks(1month) in a row for RM20 a week also throttled kaw kaw to only 8Mbps and slow like turtle. This Unifi Air won't last more so when they're now introducing the SIM-only plan for RM79 a month without contract. It's fated to go the same way as their Bebas Weekly plan expect speed throttling and lots of P2P restrictions in the long run. im using unifi mobile , no problem watching youtube 60fps on phone and netflix hd on tv

QUOTE(wolf1991 @ Nov 26 2019, 10:02 AM) Btw, the new hotline flex (own by maxis) + home fiber 30mbps at price 99 seem like a good deal. The postpaid line got 10gb all purpose data + 10gb YouTube as well as unlimited call and msm. Unifi really need to learn at how others operator are doing marketing. Their marketing are much better although they just ride on tm line and termination fee only 500 as compared to unifi where remaining month subscription fee have to be paid during ternination. its to control the modem bro, if u get unifi air but then terminate then tm loses . the modem price is rm800-1000 in market , so they need loyal customer to cover the cost of modem.

QUOTE(kvn4000 @ May 3 2020, 02:33 AM) Hi friend, thank you very much. At least I learn something. Guess I’ll need to learn how to change dns😅 I am so so regretting getting this unifi air btw 😞 Unifi air change dns? Be warn its slow because tm cannot service the tower during mco but now getting better. Band 40 doesnt means faster but can improve if using the right modem such as huawei or tplink but best find modem can support band 5, 38 & 40 altogether so it can alternate using the best wave.

QUOTE(Sree Aran @ Aug 26 2020, 12:57 AM) Hey guys i just want to ask you about the unifi air I just got myself one of it.. So basically i live in Bangsar Kl where the coverage is fine but the problem is i only for the sim from unifi and not the modem due to insufficient of stock. So they asked me to get one of my own... I want any advice or suggestions abt the modems that can support unifi air as i am aware of zte and huawei supports but is there any other alternative bcuz huawei is a little costly... Thank you ✌️ find other router like tplink or tenda support band 40,38 & 5. make sure to have cat 6 above . below will slow down.
