Luckily I did not sign that 2 years contract or will have to endure the suffering of bad speed and disconnect for 24 months.

RIP zte modem. I thought I just gonna proceed with the zte modem to save money, until I saw this....

I'm very happy with the speed. Way better than my 4Mbps streamyx.

This is the third post I saw in a week complaining about bad ZTE speed with Unifi Air.

So it confirms what you said about the ZTE modem.
Luckily I did not sign the contract to get this modem.

Anyway guys finally my Huawei B818 router has finally arrived.
Seriously I am impressed with the modem.
Can get stable and solid signal throughout.
Really worth the investment for my Unifi Air SIM only plan.
Thanks to ashdwoers for advising me not to take the ZTE modem contract.
