After the 2 years contract finished, can we keep the b618 if we choose to terminate the plan?

yes. after 24 months, you no longer have contract with tm. you can terminate anytime and not need to return b618 modem

Planning to use unifi air & connect with my iPad pro for live streaming on Facebook (I'm doing live sale on Fb).

Approximately its about 4 hours of FB live session.

Can advise if unifi air stable enough for this task? Coz want to avoid any  issue during live sale later.

Additional Info;
- My shop location is in PJ State
- Shop is located at ground floor in an open food court area.

Thanks.

unifi air upload speed quite slow. if your area have good coverage, the upload speed might go up to 4-6Mbps. if not very good coverage, might not even get 1Mbps upload.

at my area, upload speed average 2.5Mbps, if upload anything for example iphone backup to cloud while charging, all activities such browsing, streaming will facing a problem (lag, stream to lowest quality or buffer for quite sometimes). so, i need to disconnect wifi while charging the phone to solve the problem.

in another case, i bring my B618 modem to my hometown, the coverage quite good and manage to get 6-7Mbps for the upload speed, not have the above problem anymore.

just realize, at certain place, i can get unifi mobile or unifi air connected to band 3 (1800mhz). the speed great. download speed up to 80Mbps, upload speed up to 53Mbps. and it was on basement parking and inside of the building.

location, Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites Sec 14 Shah Alam.

how i check? test speed using unifi mobile on phone and found out the speed is unusual compare to band 5 and band 40. so i test with my unifi air B618 and check the connection is with band 3 (1800Mhz).

this hotel only covered by Celcom indoor antenna. i’m not sure if it roam celcom coverage or not because during checking it not show roaming. just show connected with unifi.
