Hi ,
Normally, Which band can get better speed ?  Band 38 and 40 ??
*
both bands are good but speed depends on users sharing one tower
speed will drop if congestion occurs

Hi sifu, can you please recommend me a good modem to use with unifi bebas prepaid rm35 (the prepaid plan that can unlimited hotspot 8mbps)

But hoping for price cheaper than those listed since speed capped at 8mbps)

TP-Link MR100/600
Tenda 4G06/4G09(im using this)

compare these models depends on your needs (4G/4G+/5Ghz wifi etc.)

Hey guys, I will be living in Malaysia for around a year. Found this forum when scouring around the internet. Thinking to get unifi air since the free wi-fi in my place is really bad. Random disconnects every 10 or 20 minutes, 300 ping spikes in video games. So how is Unifi Air? Is the ping stable for gaming when you use cable? Thanks.

Ping stability depends on whether there is congestion in your area or not (too much users in your area). Otherwise, its mostly stable from my experience.
I'd recommend getting a Unifi Bebas prepaid sim first to test speed and stability first before subscribing to Unifi Air.
Also recommend to use a 4G router instead of using phone to hotspot for maximum network stability.
