That depends on your usage. Speed test, if the speed suit u then ok lor.
but averagely 2bar isn't good lol depends if u have any better choice or not

u need to try do speedtest

after all, check back your needs. mine here 2 to 3 bar only, but speed can reach 30mbps ++. But, ping is a bit high and and not stable. not suitable for online gaming, even mobile gaming.

Thanks.

I tried with standard bebas, can get constant 7mbps+.

Will buy LTE plan and try another speed test.

Theoretically, b618 should gain more bar compared to e5573 (my current device) right.

Theoretically it should. I believe all portable router signal reception more or less the same as mobile phone.

That constant 7mbps from which band?

Band 5.

Believe it will go faster with B618, at least for me. For you, the risk is all yours  thumbup.gif

The free b618 is tempting.
But the 24months contract is risky for me, as i might move to different house again next year.

For now, tried asking for unifi air @tmpoint, the staff did not allow me to proceed signing since my current house missed the coverage map by few meter.

So the best way is to sign up w/o contract but you will have to find your own router. 2nd market value now is RM600~700. And you can sell it back later if u move, with no coverage or hv fiber.

On a tight budget, gonna make decision between tenda 4g680v2 & b618.

Test run on unifi air today, using tenda 4G680, max download speed 20mb n upload 10mb....  area sri petaling... if i change modem to huawei, similiar with TM modem, any possibility  speed will be better? any speed cap?
*
what is the signal bar level, when u achieved 20mbps constant speed with tenda?

since b618 have 4G+, the speed should be higher theoretically.

i actually have it on hand. just had no time o test it yet sweat.gif

the tplink mr6400 modem is cat 4 (max 150mb)

compared to huawei b618 which is cat11 (max 600mb) sweat.gif

the matter that makes me curious is, the visible antenna on mr6400 while b618 is not. perhaps better signal reception?

can tplink lock band?

How you guys unifi air bandwidth load balancing between device?
I noticed mine is unbalanced, for example 1 device is uploading whatsapp backup via wifi then all other devices will experience slow/unusable internet even for laptop which is connected direcly via LAN.

my router is b525.

Anyone has experience in terminating unifi air?
My bill date is 1st day of the month, latest bill is 1 August.

If I terminate on 13th August, will the unifi air service stop immediately?
Do I still need to pay for whole month subscription from 1 Aug to 1 Sept?
