Is unifi air upload speed really capped by isp silently? Their tnc won't mentioned it for sure.

to me, 4g/4g+ is more like a name/brand standard. id look at the lte "CAT" level.

it appears that your huawei p10 have lte cat12 (600 mbit dl 100 mbit ul),
while your 4g modem rm100 only lte cat4 i believe, as it is rated 150 mbit dl 50 mbit ul)

and of course, the rated speed does not always reflect in real world use.

the modem provided by previously was huawei  b618 which support cat11 (600 dl 50 ul)

now i believe tm provide huawei b818 which is cat19, rated at 1gbit+ (cant seems to find real value on the net), surpass most modem out there.

Just got Unifi Air sim card & test with tplink mr200. Get internet download speed 30mbps, but upload speed just 2-3mbps. My area about 15meter outside blue cover area.

Hi, any other options for the modem other than B818 and B618?
Looking for cheaper ones, but still able to get 4g+ signal

Just got Unifi Bebas. My area is outside of the blue 4G coverage cloud in the Coverage Map on the Unifi Air page. Using 4G CAT 4 Wireless Modem, and I get around 2MB DL/UL per Speedtest to Webe Server in PJ. Otherwise, Youtube buffering 480p is pretty consistent.

Anyone can comment if it would be worth upgrading to Unifi Air? Would I get better speeds doing so?

What is the Unifi Air band? I remember it is band 5,38 and 40? But I try many time now 38 cannot be connected. Only 5 and 40 .
