Yes. Can use on phone. I put 1 in my Mate 20 to test out
Yes. But band 5 max speed so far 11Mbps only. Usually below 2Mbps. Best to find device (modem or phone) that support B38 B40 but not B5 so u get to connect to fast bands if there is multiple tower nearby.
*
depends, it's actually depend
My area band 5 can get around 20mbps but band 40 after 6pm until midnight or weekends the speed just like snail...

Sorry, but getting to keep the Huawei device even after terminating the service while still in contract period AND not having to pay anything sounds too good to be true.
*
ya, it sounds too good to be true
But mmg TM like this in the past, I nvr return any TM devices b4 this, don't know why they change their policy.

50:50 chance now to see after 2 years, can keep if lucky, u'll free to have such powerful device or otherwise

And in fact maybe 5G already common by then, the b618 might be outdated oredi, so no reason for them to claim back, who knows

went to tm point malacca today but sadly no coverage for my place. then went to celcom to get celcom data with same huawei modem for rm100 for 50gb quota monthly. free trial for 30 days.
*
they are not same model if I'm not mistaken
Unifi air is b618s-65d whereas celcom is b618-22d, both support different bands respectively

Or they oredi changed, I don't know...
