QUOTE(Jackie-Cham @ Aug 10 2019, 11:29 PM) I did a little check myself. With Citi promo, price without discount (for my selected specs) is 5.8k With weekend promo, price without discount (same specs) is 4.7k So yes, they are playing around with the base config prices based on discounts. Upgrades are the same price, so if you don't upgrade much from base specs, you will save a little compared to the Citi discount. Yeap, if you checkout reddit.com/r/thinkpads and do a search on “sale” or “pricing”, you can see few threads where others have noticed this too and also complain about it. To me I think it’s fine and part of lenovo’s selling strategy. This post has been edited by kuci_mayong: Aug 11 2019, 03:02 AM

QUOTE(kuci_mayong @ Aug 9 2019, 12:32 AM) So my items came yesterday and true enough they sent me 2 each. Am quite happy with that. Packaging is extremely good, they put the mouse in a box and then sealed it with another box. Now just waiting for the main laptop. [attachmentid=10297541] [attachmentid=10297542] My laptop shipping delay 2 days.

QUOTE(Benefon @ Aug 13 2019, 07:14 AM) My laptop shipping delay 2 days. My shipping is still same but funny enough my arrival date is 2 days earlier now. I will update with pic once it has "shipped" which should be today. This is the longest wait but seriously can't wait for it. Have to say Trump will lose the trade war with these type of Chinese prices on goods.

QUOTE(Benefon @ Aug 13 2019, 07:22 AM) Hahah same as SG one. No longer can get this price anymore. I think sure can, just need watch out for deals. And at this price, won't be surprise people will upgrade their laptop yearly. And now you make me wish I also maxed out the specs after seeing your T495 specs.

Ya MYsia don’t have backlit keyboard, but SG have.

Just come with : Keyboard Keyboard Black English I think this is just naming convention, they use different name. But will let you know once it has arrived. For example I notice when I chose Ryzen 3 it mentions Vega graphics in the description but when I chose Ryzen 5, no mention of Vega graphics at all, but that chip does come with Vega graphics. Hmmm... 3.2k is a bit pricey for AMD without a discreet gpu.
I thought Taiwanese made only listed them for about 2.4k or so.

Radeon Vega 8 Graphics oh, what do u expected of business laptop to provide gaming system? Such as gaming laptop make for 1.5kg without heat an issue. There's so much choice if you just wait a bit. I think for >3k, plus being an AMD laptop, you'll at least expect a higher resolution/refresh rate screen at the very least.

Don't just look at the processor but the whole built, especially 32GB ram, the SSD, display, fingerprint, warranty etc doubt you can get that at that price point anywhere else. AMD latest APU pulls their technology for everyone have chance to compares.

Just scroll up a bit and you can see his screenshot of the configuration. As for X395, main selling point is portability. This post has been edited by kuci_mayong: Aug 13 2019, 08:31 AM
