Hmmmm got ppl buy?
Old laptop + heavy weight no resale value
Old laptop + lighter weight and better screen = high resale value
*
haha i won't buy, but nice to see old tech and how far thinkpad has come.

Old ThinkPad = IBM really collect dust.
Slower processor + weak battery and Low ram n HDD else, again TN panel
*
These people who collect more for hobbyist and collectors. Don't think they really use it for everyday use.

Color look nicer 😍😍😍

Actually i am hoping its more light silver than what is in the picture. This one looks very dark grey. Maybe its the lighting that is why looks darker.

I prefer dark grey like macbook
Macbook got Retina display while 13s just normal IPS 300nits 75% gamut color only
*
The new macbook air 2019 also pricier, by almost RM2K! I think starting price around RM5K.

He so proud with 3079. If someone tell him can get 1k few days earlier, he sure butthurt.
*
Actually shouldn't compare like that, he comparing to the base model which is around RM3000 for base model, he got higher specs for similar price to the base model. haha

and MADNESS deal is like one off time only, doubt they will give it again for the same model unless sales is bad and they want to clear off old stock.

I try configure with his specs and use CIMB code, it’s 2.7k, lower than his 3k price tag too.

Feel sorry for him, wish more ppl can be shared about the code.

New thinkbook 14 & 15, drops the “s” from its name, wonder if it means it’s thicker? Also this time has mill spec grade like thinkpad. Lenovo must really want this series to succeed.

Is it a different model?

No matter what... at least its wireless. My T590 came with wired mouse. Who the heck still uses wired mouse these days?
*
Last time they gave me this:

Part number: 4X30H56886 Lenovo Professional Wireless Laser Mouse

Not so good, but this new compact one in your pic looks much much better.

Like mentioned, I seriously doubt this deal will happen again. Maybe they will limit to 5 units only this round.
*
Maybe this round even more stock to let go seeing that 10t gen Intel Ice Lake is coming to market.

Do you think Rm1010 can cover the whole cost of the T13S? hmm.gif
*
Yes, if you take into account that this is all part of Lenovo marketing. Look how much they are able to make people "talk" about their product. What other company is as interesting as Lenovo now? (Besides Apple)

Words of advice, you can get >3 biji Xiaomi powerbank 3 for that price.

Alternatively, this new China made product looks really convincing.

All sifus here. If my main usage of laptop is normally at home and occasionally outside, is it more worth to get T series or L series thinkpad?
*
Not sifu, but can also consider the next gen thinkbooks 13s, 14 & 15 (the ones ending with -IML, not -IWL) which is not yet release in Malaysia.
