Actually this deals only make sense for those that already have a main laptop/PC and can wait. Those need a laptop fast no choice but buy retail price.

i am also wondering. some pics and video i see looks silver, some looks like dark grey, but from spec sheets there is only one color known as:

I still use the batterybar till today, since few month ago you shared. Quite good, even tells you how long till your laptop fully charge.

this second gen comes with usb-c charging too i think, based on those articles.

btw, what else do you use lenovo vantage for? i just use it for updating the laptop to latest software/bios/firmware. Is there any other benefit from using Vantage most people don't know about?

Especially if can get those sweet Lenovo MADNESS deals. Like that can change laptop every few months now.
Last time the in thing was changing phone every year, in future Lenovo will change that to changing laptop every year.

Anything can sell, its just most people no time and quite busy. Had this friend wanted to throw out an IKEA chair which he got for RM250 many years ago, told him you should sell, in the end he manage sell for RM80. Money is still money.

I was fiddling around Lenovo Vantage and found the upgrade warranty section, seems there is price difference and duration between both Malaysia and Singapore (depends which region you buy the warranty). For example if you take Malaysia lowest option Carry-in Warranty, you get 3 years at RM229, while singapore is only 2 years at SG$65 (RM198.80)

But if you go for 4 years Carry-in Warranty, Malaysia is RM1445, while Singapore is SG$230 (RM703.46). A lot of difference.

Well the option is there for those that don't always change.

Yeap and you still save a lot if add the warranty in the beginning instead of later.

My time didn't have the RM1 option, i bought the T495 with citibank 45%, so means even i add, it would have just discounted the total bill.

So with warranty would have been RM‭2,825.9‬ (if added the warranty that time when i bought it), as oppose to RM2,700.85 (without adding the warranty). So warranty would have been RM‭125.05‬ if i added that time when i bought it with the discount, instead of pay now RM229 for the additional 2 years warranty.

i don't usually upgrade a lot too, maybe every 2-3 year intervals. I have family member still using the same laptop after 6 years.

i agree, its like the sweet spot.

anyways i was just highlighting the warranty for those that want to do a warranty upgrade to check both Malaysia and Singapore region and then buy the cheapest option get better price/deal.
