I rather pay my moolah to HP/Lenovo/Illegear lower specs model, LOLOL.

HP gaming 15 do seems like a good all rounder this time, but I really don’t like the small uni-hinge design, don’t looks robust enough for long term use.

LENOVO Y530/540 have decent cooking performance, but again the extra overhang at the back of the hinge is not my cup of tea too.

I have tried Intel and AMD, I prefer Intel.
But if you have a tight budget, then by all means, go for AMD.

There is depends what you doing on the laptop.
I had Intel i7-9750H @ 2.6Ghz on P1 Gen 2, more suitable than those ultra U mobile CPU at least fan seldom kick in.
Except while charging or installation softwares.

To compare current AMD Ryzen Pro 3500U APU is damn recent than those Intel 8th gen U CPU, AMD at least the base clock speed from 2.1GHz, except Intel clock from 1.6Ghz a bit slower , Intel cpu need booting from turbo mode to get the faster result.

That is why Intel higher chance get lesser battery life’s to compare from AMD Ryzen Pro.
At least my X395 achievement 10hours from fully charged 😅😅
