i am evaluating a notebook for my company. we had received a p-o-c unit from almost all manufacturer. some of the brands came with the same model but different processor...

we have done the lab test and end user test... end results is, both processor is pretty much the same in terms of delivering the end user experience...

unless, its a processor centric/ graphical centric requirement.. but that required GPU pulak...

Oh, make sure you pay for worth, I mean you pay your own money.

Usually IT guys will done with ThinkPad X390 or Dell Latitude or HP Zbook else.
The rest consumers grade will be another story.

Part 2 reported today.

Yesterday I’m Super happy with AMD performance, cause no issue to handling with autodesk Revit model.

The battery life keeps more than 10 hours to go.
X395 fully charged bring to outdoor can almost forget the powerbank as well.

Actually AMD Ryzen Pro 3500U can handles many heavy softwares such as autodesk and design software as well as programming software.
AMD processor fan rarely to kick in, this is quiet, really feels like using ipad or those tablet.
Keyboard are nice, IPS 300nits are great colors also lightweight can carry everywhere if you wanna do presentation.
Ya, forget to add on an even 16gb onboard at 2400MHz Ram speed still feeling much better than my previous X1 Carbon 6th at 2133MHz only, at least multi tasking has not issue like X1 C6.

I love this machines so much 😍😍😍
I told myself my next laptop probably is AMD ThinkPad Again for the 3rd Gen or 4th Gen AMD APU.

Haha, temporary just forget I had my P1 Gen 2 workstation at home.

RAM speed (& size) and dual channel are important parameters to look about when you’re on APU (CPU+iGPU).

Vega 10 also barely enough for basic game like DOTO, LOL...

GPU is important not only when gaming but sometimes basic stuffs like browser and YouTube too requires some GPU juice.

Never plan to use with higher than 3500U , I know that Vega 10 are good, but maybe drink more battery life’s.

Cause I had my another workstation P1 Gen 2 are higher specs. But still love the X395 the most.
Lighter weight, better battery life and easy to carried.
