Hi
Its been almost 6/7 years since i last buy gunpla

Used to build hg/rg/mg
And busy with work so stop this hobby and collect shfiguarts
But shf like more expensive now.

I just Got a new job. Weekend mostly free now
Was thinking to go back to gunpla
But i lost track d of all the releases
Any top 5 or 10 recommendation for rg/hg/ and entry grade?
*
Welcome back
1) entry grade only got 1 now, so it's the RX78-2
2) RG - most are awesome but avoid the zeta
3) HG - too many to list here lol....but the thunderbolt kits are great and check out the retro robot kits like mazinger, grandizer, etc...

Thanks alot
I think i will start with iconic rx78 1st then i try others

I did see in youtube about rg
They say if a gundam that have alot of accesories or have too much going on it will easily fall apart but not all gundam have this issue only certain i think

Finally moved to new place in Sibu. Renting a room atm so space limited. Does anyone know if there is such a service as "renting out airbrushes and the hood etc"? Im not sure the best terminology, but I'm keen on painting my Jesta (once it actually comes in stock) but i dont have the space for a air brush setup

EDIT: A friend suggested i try just getting a small-ish air brush and buy compressed air to use. and only use acrylic paint. Yay or nay? any to recommend?

Apparently none here that offer that service. Do you happen to know what is a good setup for a small room? I was also told that I should only use acrylics because it's safer since I dont have a air filter?

Do you have any airbrush+ compressor to recommend?

I would recommend this, and you can really use this for a long time. This spray booth is made of arcylic plastic and you can clean it very easily, eliminating the paint smell. (yes, you can clean with thinner) . This product design by GBWC Malaysia Champ Eric Yap .

PS - I dont sell this and i dont get commission also ah...

how many of you also collect Bandai Shokugan kits ? damn expensive and small but if customized well, it looks quite awesome. At least bigger than the new GUNDAM ARTIFACT series

Not gunpla but.... all the mobile weapons here are designed by from earlier gundam series... so you can see some inspiration to their design

Quite a few local sellers complained of stock allocation cut for last few months already... hopefully this kit can get enough stock for malaysia

I am new to gunpla.. thanks to the current long MCO.
Wanna check with all the veteran here.
Is the MG Nu Gundam Ver Ka is a good built as of now in 2021?
Or should i go for the RG Nu Gundam instead?

Many thanks

Both are good. Newer kits will always be better, just like how a car from 2000 will not be as technologically advance as a car built in 2021. Gunplas are different and that's a reason why bandai is still reproducing kits from 20-30 years ago. Some people just like the design/looks of cetain kits.
