Bandai MG Sazabi ver ka is affordable only if compare to RG Sazabi special coating version.
*
We talk about normal release vs normal release here. Even MG 1.0 is still above RG price

my first time seeing all these old classic kits... most yet to be reissued by Bandai

*
MSV retro kits are indeed hard to find. I would take that Psycommu Zaku if ever get reissue.

The main line however is easy to find. I bought few of them

I've come across some old kits which is very much cheaper than new, other than the details & less joinery movements, any other differences? such as need glue or painting? as I prefer something that can assemble without glue or painting .
*
First of all, check what grade is the kit? MG kits mostly you don't need to paint the kit.

Second, check the year gunpla made on the box. Kit released in 2005 and above are generally decent made.

Eg will be HG 1/100 Deathscythe Hell custom compare to some random HG 1/144 models.
Eg above both are HG but diff scale though almost same price , is it maybe its an old kit, hence cheaper?
The one I saw is I think FG, costing abt rm20 for 1/144, looks older than 2005
*
FG is generally no good.
If you want cheap kit but full colors get the Entry Grade RX-78-2 just recently released last year.

FMP series is nice but kinda small la the scale...
*
What do you mean small? 8-10 meter tall is quite realistic than 18 meter robot. Very agile and light weight. Lot of mecha around this scale. Code Geass and Patlabor for example.

And Aoshima make bigger 1/48 kit if you don't fond with 1/60 scale Bandai

*
Megami Device & FA Girls are expensive..
No go for upcoming Bandai 30MM Sisters? They are basically FA Girls but cheaper l.

Is here a good place to ask around Frame Arm Girls builds? They all seem QUITE expensive compared to even MG Gundams.
*
Why go for Frame Arm Girls when we get cheaper alternative.
Bandai's 30MM Sisters?
Trivia: Shimada Fumikane, known for designing various mecha girls including famous Strike Witches, working on Frame Arm Girls and also designing 30MM Sisters line, also Gundam Build's Super Fumina kits

Wow wow wow! I did not know these existed! How is the build quality etc? Any experience with em?
*
It is new line. The kit will be release n August. But I supposed the quality is similar to Figure-rise Standard. If you bought Figure-rise Diver Nami. That will be the quality of 30MM Sisters.

In related news I just bought my first 30MM kit. The 30MM Spinatio Sengoku. Tempting to get Spinatia too. 30MM line is getting better.

Ah. I'll sit and wait then.
I heard good things about the 30MM. If you equate them to a grade in Gunpla, what grade would ya use? Like EG, MG etc

Cant seem to find a nice build that fits my taste, recently.

Was looking into the Obsolete builds but looks p low on the details according to reviews
*
30MM is based on HG line. With easier to build "Fine Build" joints inherit from HG Leo. Got lots of 3mm attachments holes around its body. Which mean easy customization by only swapping the parts from HG Gunplas or Option Set.

If looking for something nice for build. How about the non Gundam kits? Bandai Votoms Scopedog is quite nice. Very nice details.

Was looking into those. But i kinda feel it doesn't really fit what I'm looking for.
The closest I've seen is like the JoyToy line, but those are essentially action figures.
The Obsolete series comes close, but details cant really justify the price, for me.

Might look into space ships too i suppose.

Do you know if there is a database of all model kits? Or just Bandai is fine too
*
dalong.net has the most Gunpla list and some non Gunpla kits listed there.

If you into Spaceship then go for Bandai Star Wars line.
The Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon make your money worth.

Else go for Spaceship Yamato. Sadly for Gundam series spaceship line model kit are abandoned by Bandai.

P-bandai only for backpacks. The base kit is retail.
Previously appeared on major store as MG "MS A" release on August for 5500 yen.

Lol open P-Bandai store doesn't mean the items will be cheaper. Price is pretty much same with you buy from 3rd party side from local hobby shop. Marked up with high shipping rates via EMS shipping.

Main problem with P-Bandai, they shipped directly from Japan instead of having warehouse locally. So if the item is made in China the item will need to go to Japan instead shipped directly from China to local P-Bandai store(warehouse).

If the model kit doesn't gave prepainted parts, it will be fully manufactured in Japan.

I am actually talk about P-Bandai in general. Weird business operating than retailers. Not sure if they are more profiting in this way.

BTW talking about gunpla
The SD Soketsuden line is fully made in China despite recently made for Japan market(previously only available through Gundam Base). So gunpla is not actually fully made in Japan.
