Full metal model is always expensive. The old full silver model cost 500k yen before and the 24k gold model cost 20 million yen.

The perfect Zeong is weird for me. I prefer without legs anyway. Even Psycommu Zaku don't even have legs too.

Char is right. Leg is a decoration in space anyway.

PG Strike. Affordable PG around Rm500.. Decent quality.
Or go for PG Exia(non lighting version) around Rm650-700.

I suggest hold on the purchase as the PG RX-78-2 Gundam was announced last January but no official release yet.

Try this one.
SM(Sheikmainland). Got good feedback. Good finishing. Prethinned paint.

But as other said. Hand-painting is for detailling small part. Not suitable for painting the whole kit.

Tl;dr Katoki sad his first design MG Unicorn Ver Ka was obsolete so he asked for Hobby Division for MG 2.0 but we get MGEX instead.

Entry Grade RX-78-2 Rm26 - Rm30.
The stand alone version without weapon and shield will be put this Dec at Rm22.

HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam (Revive) Rm38 - Rm40

Doesn't make sense to compare Metal Build. It is not even a plastic model kit and not even from Bandai Hobby Division.

Also the Gundarium Alloy 1/144 RX-78-2 is the most expensive kit so far. Cost about 220,000 yen.

PG Unleashed highlights:

-Preassembled frame to save assembly time.
-Layout frame similar to MG Alex 2.0's Chobham frame. Come molded in good metallic color.
-Better open hatches than previous PGs.
-RGB LED in eyes, chest vents. There is also light gimmick on beam saber(they give 3 beam saber holder but I assume only one is lighted up)
-Metal parts for backpack's inner thrusters, and head's vulcan.
-Photo-etching details and also 3D realistic stickers given to enhance the detail look.

Still no confirmation whether we get the waterslides decals or not.
For me worth to buy than MGEX. Just at a bit more money for PG Unleashed and you got beautiful PG

My local shop open preorder for Rm950.

The old 2004 version is PG Strike. Not Perfect Strike. Perfect Strike was recently introduced in Seed HD Remaster.

The expansion Sword/Launcher set is P-Bandai exclusive. Not easily can find at shop.

The solely purposely Bandai make expansion set is for older PG Strike...

Well the old frame is decent enough and the old MG Dom can do most of the pose from the anime anyway. It basically another MG Dwadge which is decent kit.

The upgrade is welcomed especially the 3.0 hands.

The SD Sangoku Soketsuden line is so cheap.. Might as well buy another one than get the replacement parts.

Nice boxart. In same news the upcoming RG Zeong get cut stock by 45%, the Last Shooting ver 65%.

Dude, never paint the parts while still on runners. The result is not pretty. You better off just with straight build. The color is way better than painting like this.

The same question why car got different prices... I think its a common sense to see what it features and offered than expecting same price.

And no way MG Sazabi is affordable than RG Sazabi...
