Are you really sure? MIVEC technology is exactly the same as power VTEC brother

I never knew the Campro have variable valve timing and lift electronic control like the Mivec. Please do not confuse the forummers here with your baseless post.

[WDF] man... listen to other people comment and go motor trader website... people who drives a campro engine will know... power only kicks in after 5k rpm and will go straight to redline... pls dont be so blur ok?

You are so amusing. We are talking about the MIVEC mechanism here which is totally different from the plain vanilla Campro DOHC engine. The high cam of the Mivec engine will be engaged at a higher rpm, whereas the campro's peak torque will be achieved at 4k rpm, thus the power surge. And i don't need to ask people around regarding Campro engine. I personally driven it before. Way to go Einstein. Who's blur now

mivec tech is similar to vtec... campro is just some suck-my-ass-engine which doesn't have such tech..

So mivec will kick on what rpm. 5k also? Campro is a plain dohc. It needs cps and vim to be compared with vtec and mivec. But i doubt it can be on par with those 2.

The switch point for 4G92 DOHC Mivec occurs at approximately 5500 rpm, when the powertrain control module opens the valves longer to increase the amount of intake airflow, resulting in higher engine power.

Mivec pickup is good right. The reason i want to transplant engine is i want more pickup, not top speed. But probably i play with top speed once a while.
