I would have bought if not because Mediatek coming out with Dimensity 1000+. Save half the money and get Realme 6 for my son instead. RM1500 high performance mid-range might become reality soon.

Would like to ask how's the SOT on the P30? I am currently on my P20 Pro 4000mAh having an SOT of 4-4.5 hours. My GPS went kaput as well so considering to use the P30 that I bought during 7.7.

Any marked improvement? I know the video and photo shots on P30 are better, phone is smaller and lighter. But how's the battery?

Btw guys, how does the extended warranty work if I sell my phone to another guy after 1 year of using it? I registered it in hicare but after format the phone it'll be gone isn't it? How to transfer it to the new buyer?

hi guys, new p30 member here. Bought the phone in 2nd hand few weeks ago.
wonder if my phone problem or what.
i compared photos from p30 and my wife's mate 20. i noticed the photos color straight out from mate 20 camera (auto mode) are more colorful, punchy, saturated, and can post social media directly without edit.
However photos from my p30, look dull, pale, greenish or yellowish (but still sharp and clear), so need to edit the color (saturation) before post.
This problem happen too during Night mode, after the 4 or 5 seconds handheld, mate 20 photos look punchy but p30 still pale.

Is that normal for p30 owners here?

For video and low lights, i agreed that my p30 is better than mate 20.

so i wonder is my 2nd hand p30 issue or it is normal.

Mine also look pale and yellowish taken by p30.. My p20 tsken better photos than p30

Hey guys, I just got my p30 from lazada 7.7 sales.

My friend also bought a unit from then though he received it last Friday, and his phone has since updated to EMUI 10.1. However when I software check mine it says my phone is up to date at 9.1... Any reason / solution yeah?

good news is, my 2nd hand p30 should be a good unit.
bad news is, p30 take photo not as good as mate 20 , and older p20.

Just bought the Anker powerport which have Quick charge 3.0. Using it to charge my P30.



So meaning it supports Huawei's quick charge protocol right? If it does not, what color does it appears as?

Tried using a low powered powerbank. It's appearing green colour as well. But the word below just mention charging. When plugged to this Anker qc3 port, the wording below is quick charging. So it supports Huawei's scp la kan?

Edit, just found out there is 3 type. Charging, Quick Charging and Super Charging.

Tried using below output ports from my old PB, Huawei SCP PB and the Anker QC3.0 device.

Old PB (5V 2.4A) = charging word
Huawei SCP PB = super charging word
Anker powerport (max 18.5W with ugreen cable that supports SCP) = quick charge word

I bought p30 bcoz i hope to take better photos than old p20p. But p30 disappoint me already.

Performance wise p30 is fast and fluid.

A Pro iteration is always better than the vanilla unit especially if it is just a generation behind.

try inserting your sim card. after inserting sim card, i believe it detects the country of the sim card, thus enable the update to be downloaded

supercharge i believe is 10v @ 4A, thus 40w.. if your non-ori charger has this configuration (10v at 4A), then it should be SCP

SCP also has another configuration which is 5v at 4.5A = 22.5 watt.

Mine is P30, none pro version. So it's only 22.5W.
