plot - 4.5/5 - twisting story plot. i am surprised by the storyline. It's tailor made for Dyawne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds where you will expect some silly joke along the film. Not to mention where you get to see Gal Gadot in some fighting scene
sound effect - 4.5/5 - the sound seems different from the normal Netflix film. The bass in punchy especially in the fighting or shooting scene. Conversations are clear.
picture - 4.5/5 - from city car chase to jungle.. from land to air to sea.. impressive

Very entertaining. One of the film that you wouldn't want to missed for 2021. I would say this could be the best Netflix original film. Definitively worth your 2 hours and i hope they will be Red Notice 2. thumbsup.gif

yup actually you do.. the ahem version is cropped.. but i dont think that affect but certainly sometime i prefer over my led tv as the gray top n bottom bars are annoying for me bangwall.gif

I just re-watch in IMAX Enhanced Edition from Disney+.

If you haven't watch the IMAX edition, I strongly suggest watch the IMAX version. It is not simply of aspect ratio differences only.
IMAX version is much much better with strong 3D immersive feel. I love the IMAX edition. biggrin.gif

Beside this, the contrast and colors look better too in IMAX version.

Disney really make the physical version look worst than their own streaming IMAX enhanced edition and I don't surprise on this as Disney is working hard to dismiss the physical media.

I only get REMUX copy for ahem. Haha! and if got DV I will get DV.
For Disney+ version it is Dolby Atmos in DD+ only.

- IMAX version in Disney+ is 16.1 GB, Video Bit rate 16.7 Mb/s, Audio Bit rate 768 kb/s
- 4K UHD HDR10 Physical Media is 47.8 GB, Video Bit rate 46.3 Mb/s, Audio Bit rate Bit rate 4 214 kb/s (correction it is HDR10 not DV).

But due to the way Disney did and not sure what compression algorithm Disney use, Disney streaming version always top quality and kind of match to physical media.
I try self made MKV before and if you put superb slow process, you will get crazy decent output in smaller file. If you put very fast, even bigger file size but it will be bad output also.

Sound wise off course TrueHD better but I am ok with DA in DD+.

Physical media will be release in 3 days at UK, normally around this period, ahem already release out.
They will not have IMAX physical media as Disney no longer release it quite some times. Disney motive is kill the physical media. So all Marvel IMAX version will be available at Disney+ only.

Sometimes it is even faster than release date. Haha! I would said it is around 2 to 4 days earlier release than physical media official release date.
It is very obvious those did ahem have source to access it, probably they are working inside. Haha!

And i think the bit ratebis higher... 5x mbps.

Online streams tend to come in all forms, incl DV.... to cater to more viewer groups, i suppose.

My preference is the disc versions over the online streams.

Overall picture comes out cleaner, audio more dynamic.


Oh, bond is out next month according to the website.

These 2 major panel manufacturers are splited into 2. Samsung into hdr technology LG into DV. Eternal coming to cinema in 10 days but not sure when it will come to disc or streaming.. not sure if that's another mulan haha

Yalo but I support DV more. Haha! It is from Dolby.

I think Eternals is not based on review I read. All because of that Black Widow, now all new release Cinema Marvel film Disney no longer immediate stream at Disney+.

simple story but full of magic! rclxms.gif

better than similar ones like black panther or doctor strange.

of dragons, serpents, nazgul and drogons... from harry porter, LOTR, Hobbit, GOT. laugh.gif

tony leung, michelle yeoh, yuen wah, akwafina, benedict wong, fala chen... superb fighting scenes, excellent CGI... apa lagi mau?!
