I think their move put HD+ resolution in mid-range phone is kinda good call.

Battery life is superb, and performance is superb also due to the system only render 720p.

Eg:

Playing PUBG with Mi A3 which use 720p can set to ultra quality with smooth FPS.

While with RN7 which use 1080p only able to set up to mid-high quality then can get smooth FPS. If set ultra become lag and overheat.

gsm review says if someone watch moving content (movie,gaming) , they wouldn't notice the lack of sharpness

if someone do reading most of the tine , should stay away from this phone.

My company phone is a Redmi Note 7. Aside from the quirkiness of MIUI, it works just as well

Hence Android One makes better sense or selling point, especially to Mat Saleh companies

Hi guys... I'm currently thinking of buying this phone but want to know if it supports WiFi calling... My workplace have no line... So wifi calling feature is very important for me... Mi 9t doesn't support it... But this is android one not miui rite? Can anybody confirm whether it can support Wi-Fi calling.. Thanks

Played the phone in mi store. The resolution is the killer of this phone. Especially if YouTube or browsing alot.

And for the camera, can definitely feel the shutter delay.

Other than that, the feel in hand is quite nice.

How's the quality of YouTube video? Is 720p amoled looks as good as 1080p lcd of example mi a2?

Max res is 720p, the difference is there.

720p is very noticeable. After make item smaller a bit, seem nicer. But definitely eyes is complaining it's not full HD.
