Last weekend, connection were crap. Getting d/ced every 5 mins and lag whole day long. But what can you do, laa?

Malaysians on Streamyx should get handicap in PVP - Just about everybody else has a 1/2 second advantage in reaction time over you in the best of times. In the worst of times, they would have killed you, harvested your internal organs and danced round your corpse before your key presses register.

If you can get 219.94 , you might not lag. 300-700ms depending on how populated is the area.

the latency bar on WoW is not a good indicator. you can still have 300-400 ms shown and have very severe lag spikes of 5-10 secs.

and the only reason that blizz doesn't put a server there is that all the Oz isps turn them down completely.

capping letters, urgh. at least do it at the start of a sentence for ppl to take you seriously. tongue.gif

severe lag spikes is understandable and it also might be your pc spec sux, can't really blame on streamyx, when i used my net on oz it happened also,
yea i purposely typed it that way, so annoying isn't it
whr do u get the source of oz "isps" turn them down? the only isp i know there is Telstra, other isps uses their backbone, same like what is happening here, but dunno if internode hav their own backbone now.
why would they be turning them down? aussies hav lotsa online game around hosted there..

Arena with 1k-2k ms is NOT fun. rclxub.gif

Luckily we were matched against fellow lagger Malaysians for 4 straight games and everybody was teleporting.

there is a post somewhere on aman'thul forums about it last week i think. something about not coming to an agreement. so blizz couldn't find anyone. but if they did go onto telstra, the ozzies will complain more i reckon. it looks like the entire nation of oz and nz really hate that isp, more than we hate streamyx.

and being now in Singapore, am using my cousin's connection. supposedly a 12Mbps line but it seems slower than my 512 kbps line back home in Kuching which is surprisingly faster, even for surfing. it's a cable connection in braddell view area. no one else using it and it's all wifi.

TMNET has change the routing to gorgonnash server. Normally we will pass through at&t network. Now its LA teleglobe and its freaking lag with alot of timeouts.

This only happens to gorgonnash as i have tested on 12 servers and all these 12 servers pass att.network with no lag at all ingame.

After checking out the connection back home as soon as I touched down, I'm not gonna complain about my connection in Australia anymore.

Time for a better ISP for Malaysia nao plz.

EDIT: Apparently TMNET are doing some upgrades.

Good news, or just more empty rhetorics from an unreliable bunch?

today at 4pm my latency went from 350ms to 7k

and i was on the good ip for my area...

after that... couldn't pvp against those rat bast3rd twink horde biatchs.

i watched as my mage got killed helpless to do anything... lucky no durability lost in pvp otherwise i would ask tmnet to pay my repair bill...

Same here. About that time as well, my connection went unstable. Lots of packet loss, people teleporting, latency spiking. So much for service upgrading, hard-earned money spent on inconsistent quality of service.
