QUOTE(arubin @ Jul 8 2019, 05:39 PM) I can't say for certain but I think cannot still. Because it will never be halal according to jakimThe sampling booth I saw at a supermarket has a sign stating for non-Muslims to try only. I'm guessing there has to be a reason for that. It’s made in beer factory - haram for jakim It uses the word beer even though no alcohol - haram for jakim But anyone will a brain can tell it’s halal |

QUOTE(arubin @ Jul 8 2019, 05:39 PM) I can't say for certain but I think cannot still. Because Malaysians with no brain will later viral say Heineken trying to convert Muslims to drink beer. The sampling booth I saw at a supermarket has a sign stating for non-Muslims to try only. I'm guessing there has to be a reason for that. It should be okay for Muslims to drink it, non alcoholic beer is not new, I even drank it in Saudi. But it will never get certification la. |

Just take the example of why root beer is called Sarsi or rut bir in malaysia. Jakim will not certify anything with the word beer in it, even if 100% halal by content. Even in Brunei Root beer is halal certified. |

FAQ says contains less than 0.03% alcohol. It’s made in beer factory - haram for jakim It uses the word beer even though no alcohol - haram for jakim But anyone will a brain can tell it’s halal Is that halal? No comment; pending further research. |
