Jist tried on Public Bank terminal, does not work either.

Wondering is terminal problem or phone problem?

Most probably your phone. Been using it at multiple terminals, so far all have been successful.

Did you set google pay as default contactless payment? I just realised it only works when you set it as default payment method

Google pay got quite a detailed payment detail page, even showing the correct merchant name on google maps together with contact info. This is not available on Samsung Pay afaik

Thanks.
Initially was the case.
After switched to default from wechat.
4 transactions were good
However
Subsequently same problem comes back
Double check it's already default

Easier no need to bring physical wallet. But yeah will argue that Samsung Pay way better in terms of the points reward system, just like using a Bonuslink Card. But one plus side is that you get to store all your rewards and loyalty cards on the Wallet too, hence really can leave the physical wallet at home dee.

Why not both? Either one can act as a backup and the supported cards differ too.

just see back, the address and merchant name show on g pay, is 2, 3 KM away from shop that i pay, my phone location always on

weird. maybe its the correct merchant just different shop name or different business? I dont know, so far never encounter this issue yet. all my transactions are showing accurately
