Came back from overseas after away for two weeks and noticed one of my passive Digi numbers was terminated. cry.gif

It was my mistake as I already set reminder to extend validity before I leave, for the first time I overlooked the reminder and that's it. sad.gif I have been retaining the no. for more than four years and it's ending with AABB with just 3,6 and 9. bangwall.gif

I just noticed it when I turned on MyDigi app and realised it's no longer listed under my name, I could sense something bad and I was right! Called CS which I know won't help at all, so as expected I won't get back the no. anymore.

Maybe you all will know better, if there's any chance to get back like signing up as a postpaid no. temporarily? Digi Centre in The Gardens is just next to my office, so it's convenient for me to drop by. I know the chances of getting it back are less than 0.1% but if anyone here has any similar experience, then please share.

It wasn't a last minute, I usually set 5 days in advance and yet still missed it out! Maybe I dismissed too quickly when it prompted on my Outlook calendar. bangwall.gif

I suspended my postpaid line through the MyDigi app earlier as I am staying oversea now and my number ended up getting terminated though the app says that postpaid line will get reactivated automatically on the 8th day after suspension. I made a call from oversea back to Digi CS and argue with them on this automatic reactivation clause. During the phone call, the CS also told me that I can go to Digi Store to re-register the number if I can make it back to Malaysia. Though I didn't make it back, they gave me a call after a few days informing that they have reconnected my line under my name. Maybe you can try dropping by a Digi Store to ask about registering the same number again?
*
Yeah, gotta drop by and it was a MNP-ed no. from Celcom, I was told I can try my luck with Celcom too.
Oh well, not putting in any hope but just wanna give it a try since The Gardens has both Digi and Celcom Centre. Otherwise, I have to move on.

Yeah, usually this telco is smart enough to tie the users. tongue.gif

Anyway, I think I will need to move on.

fruitie 1) If I disable both domestic and roaming voicemail when I am overseas, I can still receive and make calls while I am overseas right, so long as I buy the roaming pass. 2) Since mine is digi best prepaid, I still have to buy the roaming pass right?
*
1) Yes but you don't need roaming pass to receive/make calls. Roaming pass is for data.
2) If you want to use data.

fruitie Thanks. The last round when I went to Singapore, my phone could not be used at all to receive/make calls or sms.  Line completely went dead. That's why I thought this round, will need to buy roaming pass. Sigh! Really problematic.

BTW, have you ever used prepaid digi sim while overseas? I'm trying to disable the roaming and domestic voicemail to avoid charges. But then there's confusion.

Digi CS says
*128#
1 My account
9 Account setting
3 Voicemail
99 More
5 Deactive voicemail/visual voicemail

While 1 of the forummer here last year mentioned as :
*128#
1 My account
9 Account setting
3 Voicemail
99 More
8 Other setup
6 VMS roaming off

Now am so confused as don't know which is the correct one. rclxub.gif

You need to enable roaming first, get that activated. From your experience above, your roaming is not turned on.
Check your MyDigi app > Settings > My Subscriptions > International Roaming, see if the toggle is turned on.

fruitie Thanks but my international roaming is on as per what I can see on my Digi apps. It has always been automatically on as its prepaid as per Digi  rules.

Try register to Digi roaming partner in Singapore. They are Starhub and Singtel, I never have issue to use Digi Roam Like Home in Singapore.

tympg Thanks. Previously, the last round, I brought my xiaomi and nokia phones. Both phones and sim cards could not work. Hopefully this time round, something will work. Fingers cross

Make sure it's not 2G network, SG has shut down 2G long time ago.

Ask them to reactivate again or ask them to disable and enable again to refresh your profile.

Guys, quick question.
Say if I wanted to test the speed and coverage of Digi within an area using a prepaid card before committing to a serious postpaid plan, what prepaid Internet packages are advisable to get?
Since some of them are branded unlimited but it seems like the speed is capped.
*
RM 8/day add-on for unlimited data and no capped speed.

Hi guys.

Is there any add-on available to extend the validity of Digi's prepaid line? I.e. RM30 for 180 days.

Thanks.
*
Only super old plans have RM 38 for 1 year, now no longer available. Above RM 100 if I'm not mistaken.

Afaik Digi is using band 3 and band 7 network, and I'm planning on buying a new phone (Honor view 20) which doesn't support band 7 (2600). May I know if it will affect my 4g stability/speed? Or am I advised to get other phone which support both band 3 and 7? Thanks.
*
Better get a device that supports B3 and B7, not only Digi but other major telcos are also using these bands.

What if I’m on postpaid plan like digi infinity 150?
*
You must be joking right? BOS is for prepaid only.. If I'm not wrong. I haven't seen in my postpaid lines yet.
Moreover, Digi Infinite 150 is already unlimited, what's that to offer? sweat.gif This RM 1 is only 3Mbps.

Hold your horses guys, I’m using 2 phones
This is why I’m asking since I needed another line that’s also unlimited (but i don’t wanna have to subscribe yet to another digi infinity)
Currently my other line is unifi and the coverage just keep getting worse.
At least now I know why it never showed up in my digi app.

I have inactive prepaid no. and also Digi Infinite 150, none of my prepaid no. is given with this promo.
Moreover, I'm not a fan of 3Mbps so I'm totally fine without it.

RM 5 for 5GB for 15 days always active is so awesome. Perfect for my colleagues, they are in KL for just few days and didn't buy any SIM card. They thought data roaming was working but somehow it didn't. So I lent them one of my prepaid SIMs and saw this on BOS, quickly subscribed for them. One of them will hold this SIM and share hotspot with the rest. I was pretty worried about them without any data lurking around. sweat.gif

Again BOS saves me. thumbup.gif

Dang. I'm going out of the country in 2 weeks and I don't wanna get charged!!!  How do I do that then?  Looks like I'm going to have to walk in and ask.
*
What's the problem? I have roaming turned on for more than a decade and never once I'm charged anything additional whenever I travel. Every time I will travel from weeks to months and I'm a frequent traveller.
