I don’t know what’s up with Digi. Haven’t been able to pay my BB bill. Paying my other bills no issue because it’s from my house WiFi. The free data is so slow I kept having errors with my payment via Digi app. I called up CS to get their JomPay code plus I asked them to cancel my free 8-6pm 1GB data. Surprisingly the CS was very keen to help after my explanation.
*
How’s the speed after cancellation? Currently can’t even do video conferencing without lag

This afternoon received SMS from Digi they have removed my free daily 1GB. Speed test was 21.3Mbps previously was 5.25Mbps.

Edited: no problem paying my Digi BB from the app now.
*
Wow, looks like there’s a speed cap on it

I guess I should consider request to remove it then

How do I request cancellation of the 1GB free data? What info do I provide to digi ?

Only issue is video conferencing lagging, and overall slow speed... not sure if this is due to speed cap or congestion

I think your problem is sufficient to ask for canceling the free 1GB. Tell the CS it’s affecting your work at home re video conferencing. Have you done a speed test during and after the free 1GB hours?

To speed cap is stupid. The sooner the users finish their 1GB they will make use of their own data. To speed cap and then affecting users to do simple tasks online is ........
*
Used to be able to receive around 15 mbps before MCO.... now during mco + 1gb data, got only 6.64 Mbps(download)... jitter is 130ms.

speeds seem inconsistent at times but upload is like 0.62 Mbps( with 1gb) ... 2 Mbps upload before MCO

Want to ask wifi calling no use "call time" ??

Btw i tried to enable wifi calling on my Note 9 but then i cant receive any normal call until i turn off wifi calling feature. Is it something i do wrong?
*
Wifi calling uses your house wifi to route calls, it requires stable wifi and by right it shouldn't relate to the telco signal but for some reason with Digi, it relates to cell signal... So what I did was switching on airplane mode + wifi which fixes my issue

Same as my complain, has been 3 years and no improvement has been done, my wifi calling drop line due to this changing band. Now mco even worse, 80% drop call rate, will port out to celcom after mco
*
Maybe try using airplane mode + wifi when using wifi calling?

By right we shouldn't be doing this but for some reason, Digi implementation somehow links with their cell tower( Umobile wifi calling don't have this issue)

U wait long long after MCO sure no more.
Ahh now i understand. So only those registered as Islam gets it? Because all 7 of my numbers did not get it.
So complicated..

Im using prepaid now just basic plan without free calls, so if i use wifi calling then i will not get charged for making calls?

How about the problem i mentioned earlier when i turned-on wifi calling and ppl cant call me at all?

Btw is this vowifi is the same as "wifi calling" ?
https://www.digi.com.my/support/our-network/vowifi
*
Yup, Vowifi = WiFi calling

You’ll be charged the normal rate.... this is normal phone call not WhatsApp call only difference(in theory) is that the call is made with WiFi instead of cell signal.... hence you can even call home overseas with the Malaysia rate as long as you got a working/stable WiFi overseas( no roaming required)

From this forum, it seems that people in some areas are experiencing technical problems with Digi's VoWiFi.

But for me in Penang, I have no problems receiving calls or SMS over WiFi, with or without cellular radio on.
*
Having issues here with call dropping with cellular radio on, off so far no issue

my previous telco(Umobile) no issue

I not forgotten I used Honor phone before that supporting both VoWiFi and voLTE, when calling at home connected to unifi will show VoWifi and when outside it will show VoLTE. no charge so far  hmm.gif
*
Maybe because your plan comes with unlimited calls already

Standard/plan rates apply for WiFi calling

Was this ever resolved? I just ported into DIGI and Am having the SAME exact issues you're having . Customer service can't help - they deactivated VM still there. Reactivated - still there. Not sure whats happening but its very annoying - especially if i lose reception then come back to a place with reception - the message pops up - and the VM icon always has a red dot on it.
*
It didn't happen to me at all even after I port in last month before MCO

I believe it may be something setup wrong on the voice mail part from digi- keep getting the VM notification - gets annoying. Sad part is if I put another providers sim card into the iphone it doesn't have it. If I put it on an android phone, there is no issue either - something about iphone and my current digi setup it seems.

Using an iPhone too....

Hmm..
Both report mentioned Maxis is top...
But if u see in Maxis section.. many customers report slow speed & coverage issues 🤔
*
True, I saw it too(my experience with maxis is so far decent...), Umobile doh.gif

Even for 3G and 4G coverage(together), maxis beats them - for 1st July - 31st December 2019

All telco for me is depend location
Have been use digi more that 10 years, and u mobile 5 years
Different location give different result on speed, respond
On some place digi cannot stick 4G, keep auto drop 3G
Some place get crazy download speed

Even same on umobile, most place 4G full bar, speed very slow
I set 3G only speed better that 4G
*
When I first port into Digi from Umobile, got some area with crazy download speeds( speeds like 70mbps) which rarely happens with Umobile

realized past few days..

the free 1 GB 8am-6pm have some kind of "limit usage trigger"..
whenever usage hits around 300mb or above in 1 session.. bamb. cannot load.. close & reconnect data. then it's okay back..

use another 300MB.. then slow again. Close & refresh again. okay speed...

like this better don't give the damn free data...
hmm.gif hmm.gif

wah like this will be a disaster for those who work from home/ those who use video conferencing

Unlimited weekly is for 4G only, unifi 4G LTE only.... very spotty coverage(for me)
