🤔, Like this then would be inconvenient for real Malaysian who goes to Thailand.... maybe they should implement a system at immigration checkpoint to register the phone number to allow for roaming on Thailand carrier with some verification such as Malaysian IC

🤔, I actually got that since April 1st... rarely use cell signal during MCO, only WiFi calling for me.... also signal and speed has degraded since MCO started

I got that SMS too.... can't block on iPhone.... the best I can do is to mute it

As far as I know, basically every telco got this SMS.... sometimes it feels like spam and everyday/ every few hour blasts the same message

The thing is I don't/ rarely use my mobile data during the MCO period 😅. so the extra data is not helpful since I'm using my house wifi most of the time

Btw I've noticed that I can bring up the Digi menu with *118# as well.... the correct USSD number is *124# I think?

Wow, so fast.... 1 month after MNP in from Umobile already got spam SMS.... at least it didn't cost anything yet
I got that SMS only once

UM got.... but worse than this... auto opt in RM3 service that I didn’t request for

No idea where my number got leaked but I know it’s definitely while I was on Umobile

Maybe Umobile has bad data protection or got data breach before ?

🤔, originally my number is from celcom... but at that for the time I was with celcom(1st year)... I rarely get spams/ scam calls

oddly didn't notice it till I was in Umobile.... where I got paid SMS coming in Jan and Feb 2020 but a lot of other spam SMS/ even calls( didn't answer..... I just listen to voicemail)

Left celcom mainly because their pricing is expensive and umobile offer data plan for cheaper

Digi seems to offer a decent plan for me(coming from unlimited data - but I only use like 2-3GB most of the time)

Can’t even do video conferencing with it

Gov give 1gb data then digi put hidden speed cap with this performance can’t even do video conferencing.... always lag
