When I called their customer service to ask about a transaction with the same description, their reply was that this is triggered by a merchant trying to do tokenisation. Will continue to monitor closely but they did say they got a lot of queries like this but are unable to identify which merchant is triggering this tokenisation request.

Called Public Bank CS on this scenario and they mentioned it can be done. But just wanted to see if anyone else has experience on this:

If my card has 10k limit and I want to swipe 14k, is it possible to pay an additional 4k+ to the card first to allow the transaction to go through?
