Hi guys, PB cc statement is flexible or fix? Just got my hand of my new PB cc this afternoon and now only managed to add card into my pbe, actually can call to CS to ask but i think it is too late at this hour ya? So anyone got changed statement date before to the date that you desired?

The reason is i want to consolidate all my banks CC into the same statement date for ease of management.

Hi, 1st of all wish your application go through ya. Regarding the pre-approved 50k CL, mine got chop to 20% only, hahahaha. But is ok, i actually kinda like apply for fun, if approved then i minght use it for my plan, and 10k is ngam ngam enough for my plan.

Actually, with the new QV revision come effect after 1st September 2019, 5% cash back for contactless transaction, with the maximum cap of RM 30 monthly, equivalent to a total amount of RM 600 contactless transaction per month, not very hard to achieve right? Don really need to reset with pin transaction ya?

I mean..... if of course the whole month you only have that one day chance to do that contactless transaction of total sum > RM 600, and ya, you might need to pin transaction to reset.

Oh! I missed that 9 times transaction thing. So yup, eventually still need pin transaction to reset it in between some contactless transactions. But yup, if average each contactless transaction > RM 70, then 9 times can achieve the max RM 30 CB ald. Then QV can keep in drawer till next month ald.

Sorry but a bit out of topic for my question.

I know pbb works this way (paywave more than 250, but we insist on paywave, and then key in PIN), pbb will still capture this as paywave transaction, thus, 5% cb.

However, for the Affin Visa Signature, anyone knows that is it the paywave works as pbb “style”?

I just applied mine at Affin branch, the lady said “paywave, obviously it is without PIN, then if you key in PIN, it wont consider as paywave anymore”

She sounds “right” though? But i do hope someone who got the experience may share his/her evidence, i.e yup, paywave but key in PIN, monthly statement still capture for the 3% paywave cb.

Never hv issue with PB so far, hope it stays for long long time😬.

Anyway, my best experience with fraud case is Alliance, ~RM 600 fraud transactions, call to CS the moment i received the fraud transactions sms, CS block my cc immediately after verified my identity.

Then 2nd day received sms that Alliance has send out my new cc.

3rd day receive the new cc👍

Just that, took them about nearly 2 months to refund back the money.


Affin also got fraud transaction , a fishy transaction RM 5. Same, call Affin to block my card, received replacement card 1 week plus later.

Email them, and request for the form.

They will reply with a credit limit increase form. Filled it up and they will process accordingly. Of course with the required documents as well.

I did mine on 30/5/2025, and today login MyPB only found out my requested cl approved 😅

No sms no email no nothing😂

Notice this too. They put my “minimum payment” in that “installment” column. Despite i don have any BT, installment, nor flexipay with them😏

And, i cleared my statement before 30/31 of the month also, that minimum payment amount still appeared there.

Still waiting for Public bank to join Applepay, so that lesser card in wallet😌
