i see. I never requested for rebate before, but this year they cut the cashback to 2%, I was thinking without service tax rebate it might not be worth it anymore. I guess I'll just hold on to this card for 1 more year and cut

I also have maybank barcelona. it's only 1% but I felt it's way better because no need to think about how to accumulate 100 in a single receipt.

i also receive this card in the mail. just curious how did you activate it? I don't see the card listed anywhere in the mypb app or website

Ok this is very strange, I never had to do this last time, the card just appear when it is approved. Does this mean if I don't add the card, it will not be activated?

my previous card, i just need to log in to mypb website and go to the settings -> activate card, after that it appear already. But this card in the mail, there is no where for me to activate on the website. Does this mean i need to call customer service to activate?

I'm not even aware that I need to manually add the card, and I have been using the public bank visa signature since 2019 without doing so. So how could you say it never happen?

yep i already thrown the letter away haha, took for granted everything can be done on the pb website.

my first card, i had to go down to the branch to activate even though apply online through the ringgitplus website. So the bank officer did everything, i just open the app and the card was there already.

my 2nd card is actually a replacement for the first card due to fraud. The 2nd card also just appear in the app, i just need to do one extra step, which is go to settings, manage card, and change the card pin. Then can use already

then yesterday, the wmc came in the mail. I go to check pb website but didn't find that card. At first I thought it was a scam mail, but after come to this thread I only realize other ppl also had this card in the mail as well
