So I would like to show my example here since some folks here wanted to know. So I topped up RM1.5k to BP on 28 Apr, statement generated on 2nd May, payment due on 22nd May, I called up CS on 14th May and said wanted to convert that RM1.5k to FPP, approved and showed in PBE on 16th May, CS said no need to pay anything when comes 22nd May, so another statement being generated on 2nd June, I will need to pay the first instalment which is RM125 on 22nd June.

TL;DR, I managed to extend my first FPP payment to around 55 days. Max is 80 days if you really plan it out.

This is 0% interest and 0% upfront handling fees? Where can I find more info about this? The only info on FPP I can find is the one below but there's a certain % of handling fees?

t&c similar to https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...y-Plan-(7).aspx >> applicable to ALL pbb cards

but the 0% 12mth is ONLY applicable to Quantum cards.

I see, thanks! Strange that I can't find much info on this on PBE website.
Do you know if there is a max cap? I assume min is RM1k?

did u even open up the link and read? >> https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...y-Plan-(7).aspx

there are 2 types:

1) standard flexipay > https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...y-Plan-(7).aspx
2) quantum flexipay > 0% 12mth, min rm1.2k

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 1 2019, 04:52 PM)
you didn't read the sentence above the table?
*
Of course I did read doh.gif
What's confusing is, some banks will say 0% interest rate but certain % of management fees or whatever fees they wanna call it.
This Public Bank is the same too, which is why I'm asking here to see what you guys have experienced.
So is it 0% interest and 0% management fees for Quantum cards? I would like to hear from people who actually took that Flexipay with Quantum, not someone who just read the first line but never tried it before.

Thought of doing this, but then realised the T&C had this exclusion list:-

Existing Principal Cardmembers who extend a supplementary card for another existing Principal Cardmember

Why would you want to give a supp card to an existing principal card holder?

Principal. Supp card should be included in the principal account too. I don't think supp card can register for pbe.
*
So Supp Card details should appear automatically under the Principal account? I recently applied for one

yes, worth it as they got cb more than the percentage charged by bank, and if those expenses are covered for company expenses, then it's absolutely worth it

I see.. thanks! Going overseas soon so not sure whether to use BigPay for everything
But at my own expense (not company) sweat.gif

1st - it's only worth if u spend at the 8% category. Spend RM1000- RM1250 in foreign currency and get RM100 maxcapped (not include booking hotel that charged in RM)
this amount should be ok if you purchase something there(instead of buying ciggy/alcohol in msia, buy at your destination provided cheaper)

2nd - after hit RM1250 u can keep the card and use BP all the way(include ATM withdrawal for cash usage in your destination)
********************cashback is 1st come 1st served******************

personal thinking this campaign is not competitive but if your travel date <15th of the month, winning chances is high, if >20 will be a bit risky.
*
Thanks a lot for explaining notworthy.gif
Will keep this in mind
