I got the 55'' for few weeks already. Just want to share my Ghosting Effect on Netflix. All the special settings need to be off. Sometimes even you already set everything off and the Ghosting Effect will still be there. You need to exit Smart and go back to smart menu again and choose a different Netflix movie. I almost wanted to return the TV but fortunately I have solved the Ghosting Effect!

1) Go to advanced video setting and set everything off.
2) Go to Netflix play any movies.
3) If Ghosting still there, go to HDMI again n check advanced video again to confirm everything is off.
4) Go to Netflix n this time select a different movie. If Ghosting still there, just go to Youtube or go to HDMI again then come back to Netflix again.

Coocaa 50Q5 review: An affordable 4K Android TV, with some compromises

In my experience, however, I’d advise anyone who’s looking for an Android TV experience on a budget to go for a “dumb” TV instead, and pair that with something like a Mi Box...

The coocaa tv got a pain,
which is not included the HDMI ARC.

When we see the Netflix, it is unable to transfer best sound quality from TV to my soundbar.

Only can use the Optical port, but which is lower quality if compared with HDMI ARC.

I was wonder, is there any gadget or device can makes TV having the HDMI ARC output?

Thanks.

(Astro decoder)-(this device)-(optical to soundbar)+(hdmi to tv). My sound bar accept optical and HDMI ARC only as wired connection.
My tv doesn’t have HDMI ARC and astro decoder doesn’t have optical out. Now my soundbar produce dolby digital from astro decoder.

It is still not working if you want convey the sound from Android TV's Netflix to soundbar.
The above cases, is from (Astro decoder)->(that device)->(optical to soundbar)

In our case is From CoocaaTV -> Soundbar thru HDMI. but impossible. But, you can thru the Optical cable.
Lower quality lor... sad.gif

Otherwise, which is Use PC turn on Netflix in PC, then plug to sound bar HDMI IN, and HDMI out to TV.
you will get better sound. But, then if so , what is the meaning of Android TV for.
haha.

Optical cable can support up to Dolby Digital. Netflix is broadcasting in Dolby Digital and so does Astro. - After writing this, I google up Netflix and to my surprise they actually upgraded to Dolby Digital Plus & Dolby Atmos in May 😅
