Well - to be fair, the 7.99% flat rate is quite competitive.
The effective interest rate is approx 14%, which is still lower than the Credit card interest rate.
The only catch would be if u want to do an early settlment in the earlier part of the loan tenure - be prepared to pay a hefty penalty.....the penalty is calculated based on the selling price of the loan, not the amount outstanding.
cheers.

Hi all. I wish to acquire a personal loan from any bank. Can somebody point me to the right bank which provides super fast approval with less income documents. I could provide a pay slip and bills if required. My job hours are just too impossible to get out to request any other documents like EPF or income tax statement. Thanks in advance! Cheers! I wanted to use my Alrajhi Charge Card for the limit, but funny they don't accept it. Gave another banks credit card which had a lower credit limit. 3 hours gone and no reply from them. Only this morning got SMS from them saying application pending due to unmet requirements. hmmmm, so much for the 3 hour approval.

Hong Leong bank takes up to 48 hours for the approval process. It can be shorter and longer, depending on the amount of loan and document submitted.

Today Al-rajhi called me up to inform my application is approved However it was for 5 years, so I've told them I wanted to take the loan for 2 years only. Another 2-3 working days for reprocessing.
