Old conti need love and faith want, else sure complain no power, not fast, rust, sini rosak there rosak, spare parts mahal, air con not cold enough, ....

Play Conti car must have at least some knowledge, where to source parts (cheap and good), then need bengkel support. else you buy liao, then above complain all keluar, money burnt, then cakap conti tak sedap play.

some ppl play shoik shoik, W201 play till W211, then play E30 till E60, less complain, because people got jalan and kangtao and also LUCK.

6k W124 can buy lah, but expectation need put very low, anytime will breakdown halfway, or manja.

Basikal get pickup better

90's Merc is the most reliable car, running in tough conditions in Mongolia and UAE even.
E36 BMW have great handling, good build quality and generally reliable as well.

e36 good handling ? the car stock standard come with manufacturer fail design that kill and at 3 person i know in malaysia killed, famous is e36 m3 crash in tropicana.

People who drive m3, expected.

Talking about play conti car mindset:

i use Alfa Romeo 156 selespeed 2.0 as example.

1)Alfa car seat/driving position = Normal people cakap weird,
but you cakap its Alfa characteristic.

2)Gasket keep burn = Normal people cakap not reliable,
but you need to cakap its designed like this, and you dont mind to repair.

3)Overheat = Normal people already start want get rid it,
but you tell you wife, pratice monitor the Temp gauge frequently, old Alfa Romeo last time lagi susah jaga, this one still a good one

4)timing belt, gearbox (selespeed) = Normal people wont buy anymore, and will demotivate other people too.
You still tell your friend, the engine really powerful, and sound good, gearbox dont play so much, slow and steady drive, if gearbox kong, i got workshop can help you....

Normal people = Japanese car, PPAG.
Conti Car Kaki = Always have solution, no matter how bad the situation.
