If you show them your 3G phone, the 128K 3G USIM is FOC. Not sure if it's still a valid offer for now.

Sooner or later, you won't be have much choices as Maxis is reserving some of the 017 numbers for Maxis BB via 3G HSDPA.

I'm not so sure about neither ... my guess will be it's like another compression/coding technique as WCDMA. Sorry ...

In order to use Maxis BB via 3G, you need to equip the modem with a SIM card. The SIM card is using 017 prefix. I think the same concept is used for Maxis 3G (with data card).
