1. Budget : 5k (max up to 6k)
2. Usage : game, watch movie, work (multiple microsoft software running)
3. Display: 15" or 17"
4. Any brand accepted (excluded Asus, Dell)
5. Other requirements: No heating issue, good aftersales support

Currently considering Legion Y7000 and Y540 (not sure which is better) and if look for better options that fit into requirements above?

Y7000SE and Y540 are the same, go for either one if you cannot wait for new models (buy from stores - ready models)

There's no laptop without heating issue, only models with better cooling among their rivals

hi, if my laptop comes with intel i7 / 16GB RAM, graphic running on integrated graphic (UHD probably), is it still worth to on-board another graphic card (AMD Radeon 630 2GB GDDR5 32bit)?

Processor: Intel Core i7-10510U (1.80GHz, up to 4.90GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8MB Cache)
Memory: Single channel 16GB ddr4 ram

My usage 80% Work/movie/browsing and 20% gaming (only dota 2)

The one I'm mentioning is Lenovo ThinkBook 13/14S-IML (Customizable). I'm not sure throwing a 16GB RAM using intel UHD alone is better than getting another graphic card. cons are single channel RAM, and that's pretty much about it. pros over the below is reliability and better heat management. With a price around 3.5k-ish

Another product im thinking about is HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0123au. I don't really like the design but the specs are somehow magnificent. Cons are the infamous thermal/heat management issue and some outdated driver issue. pros over the lenovo is touch screen. price also around 3.5k

Key difference between these two are of course the processor and graphic cards which I have no further opinion about it.

For me good hardware specs doesn't mean anything if it does not orchestrates well with the software collectively (such as drivers etc). Simple analogy is how apple manage to make good user experience product without having to throw in a lot high-end hardware spec because their hardware and software sync up pretty well.

I wouldn't suggest getting an old AMD GPU in an Ultrabook

Envy x360 13 actually don't have performance issue anymore since 3rd gen Ryzen mobile

Hello guys, first time buyer from lenovo online here.

The UPS tracker says my laptop package is currently at sepang missing it's "import license". Should I be worried and start emailing them now or just have patience that this will get resolved by Lenovo soon?
