I never buy from them so can't tell, however from what I know it's pretty goodWeight, display, audio, battery life are never my concern. I care only about processing prowess. Imma use it like a desktop Is the recovery partition really that important though. I wipe all the partitions in my Y530 when doing fresh Windows install lol. Since Illegear laptops all comes with fresh Windows install as well, I don't think there is recovery partition, but it isn't necessary imo Are you looking for a laptop? Where's your question? QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Jun 27 2019, 01:01 PM) actually all of them are good, it's hard to compare, though Lenovo has onsite warranty while Illegear/Level51 gives you more user control (can do upgrades by yourself/do maintenance without voiding warranty etc) By the way, any thoughts on Acer? specifically Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-54KG since you've suggested swimming in the 5-5.5K waters..? |

Hi all sifus, need help in choosing a laptop for my own as I sold my x1c6 to use my parent's surface book, and the charging port seem to broke down on me. So back to hunting a new laptop haha..
1. Budget : 7.5k ( I'm a student so can get student price ) 2. Usage : some gaming ( DotA and FFXIV), coding, lightroom 3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Display Size : 15" Battery Life: at least 6 hours when I'm not gaming. Weight: as light as possible without decreasing on build quality... DO NOT want a laptop that screams GAMER for it's look, prefer it to look tone down or professional. As this is gonna be my laptop for work as well.. Currently I'm eyeing on the XPS 15 7590 OLED.. not sure if it's a decent choice, as I tried out the XPS 13 9370 before.. the keyboard is stiff and hard to type for long periods imo.. Anyways, personally no brand preferences. Thankss |
