QUOTE(blacktrix @ Aug 13 2007, 01:47 PM) The Dellinger 7 not bad what............ wei, the Dellinger 7 is like my ub3r-dream guitar... but it'll be pretty cool to have a 27 fret 7 string Horus... and the Horus shape kinda grows on you... http://www.kyowashokai.co.jp/caparison-eng...dellinger7.html ![]() |

you need a epic 12ft tall ogre with 26 arms to play that
the extra 2 arms are to devour anyone who thinks malmsteen is cool. |

QUOTE(SweetTooth @ Aug 12 2007, 09:51 PM) are you adjusting the trust rod with tuned strings? if that's the case, you can try loosening the string then adjust the trust rod. the string tension may effect the trust rod movement.easiest way to check for neck bow is to tune your guitar, hold it at playing position and fret the 1st and last fret of the low E string. same as using straight edge. |

truss rod should always be adjusted with the strings at the tuning that you use.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 13 2007, 03:28 PM) yes, it's true. what i meant was that losening the strings so that the screws can move, then tune again. sometimes the trust rod won't budge with tuned strings. that's what happened with my old grx40. |

Don't bother, man... maybe if Herman Li starts using an RG will Blacktrix even consider it... nice upper fret access, nice bridge, ok pups, nice neck, but it's USED for ur price range. clicky <<<------------ |

I tried the RG.......body is a little too big and I would prefer the ZR Trem instead of an Edge III.....
But I might go for a H-H configuration, as the middle pickup hinders my plucking abit....... Right now, an Ibanez S series is still on track for me. |
