i wanna record some sound clips for my pedal, gonna mic the amp through my sisters laptop because my pc is across my room.. what software should i be looking at? something simple? will sound recorder cut it ? i plan on editing and cutting out the endings(which i move to stop the recording)

the ritter gig bag that you use for your rr3, how much was it? are the wings equal in length or 1 side short like rr3? think can fit an ltd alexi-200 ?

check the cheap guitars and amps thread.. if you really want a cheap guitar, we all reccomend an SX strat(480) to go along with a roland microcub(380) but the microcube is pretty scarce now..

if you have a better budget, LTD guitars will cost you about 1.2k but you get what you pay for. i'm using an LTD myself and its well built and plays well.

also, do you guys think it'll be funny to have a covered pickup in the bridge and an open coil pickup in the neck?

i'm deciding between an emg hz h4 and a seymour duncan sh-8 invader.. anyone tried them before?

yeah. looking for a mini guitar with a built in speaker and distortion. sth like ruben's... kh junior will probaaly cost a bomb and it doesn't have a built in speaker...
