the choice is yours. You wanna gaya, you have to be kaya.
Otherwise use that 20K salary wisely, buy a cheaper car (like I mentioned earlier, example 350z or 370Z) and still some for your holiday lah

GTR owners, questionis it normal for GTR to be super loud during cold start in the morning?
Neighbor 4 house away has a new GTR, got disturbed from sleep because of this.

i personally think 20k is not enough if u use this money to live. Set aside 15k per mth for this car alone, and high potential to burn your savings.

minor part replacement/service for gtr will always be 4 digit at minimum, nothing at 3 digit. 5 digit for major service excluding major part replacement.

i did not know gtr needs expensive oil to maintain. always interested to know how much blood needed to maintain this.

imagine burning thousands for only ONE component minor service, fuiyo. Even typical merc/benz also need to step aside. And those oil/tyre/rotor replacement waiting to deduct your monthly paycheck. omegalul

I don’t own a GTR but the answer is yes. Even with all the modern throttling from particulate filters and turbochargers and catalytic converters, most sports cars with sports exhausts are loud AF at cold starts.

Definitely not equipped with stock exhaust, was it bassy? crispy? or crackle like crazy?

You can google around, even Nismo version cold start it's not that aggressive.

Very deep bass and annoying.
Donno why CNY every morning must start the car at 7am.
Then return 30 minutes later.
Maybe went to buy breakfast for someone.
Thank God, the owner just return for CNY holiday.
