u can either buy 3rd party cooler or apply thermal paste on it.

3rd party cooler is like the cooler that u add in other than the stock heatsink, normally they'll hv better cooling than the stock cooler, but it will be a bit expensive.

thermal paste is a type of paste that apply between ur heatsink and the surface of processor, thermal paste is not a glue, it helps increase the efficiency of heat exchange between heatsink and processor, and also increase the surface area of contat between heatsink and processor.

u only can stick to DDR ram only, if u want to change to DDR2 u need to change the motherboard and also the processor because after u change to new motherboard ur motherboard cant support the old processor.

u need to see wat's the maximum speed of the RAM that ur motherboard can support, but u can upgrade to 256 or 512 with the same speed....

as long as ur motherboard can support the speed then it is ok, if ur motherboard only can support until 266mhz max and u put in a 333mhz the new RAM will run at 266mhz.

there's a performance gain if u change 266mhz to 333mhz, but if u put both 266 and 333 RAM in it, the 333mhz RAM will running at the same speed as the 266mhz.

erm.....i dont hv much info about ur specs here, the PSU u can use any brand for any hardware, as long as it supply enough power to ur hardware component then it is ok.

try to disable the cocol n quiet or other features in BIOS, i forget wat's the features that control the fan speed for intel.

wat is ur graphic card's spec?? recommend for 1GB RAM and a dual core, but ur spec can support it, maybe in low settings
