normal format won't clear the bad sectors, u need to perform low level format to fix it, and that's also not 100% will clear the problems

y dun u backup the datas before trying to format?

sounds bad, and i suspect the stuffs inside is unrecoverable by normal means liao
maybe you can try recovery experts
besides, a low level format practically clean everything, so there's no chance of recovering datas after formatting
