brand new/replacement = brand new engine, brand new transmission, brand new design
facelift - upgrade abit here and there/improvement
saga from 2008 until now is still facelift....still the same engine, still the same transmission, still the same interior

proton has a 10 year cycle for each of their model
we're not toyota, facelift also call brand new

due my experience, I own and drive both car, saga flx 1.3 and bezza 1.3. For long distance, slow drive within national speed limit, bezza provide more comfortability for passengers. Despite its upright seating position, I think it is still comfy. In addition, for city drive, bezza behave better, no jerking, no cvt rubbery feel, throttle response more direct. The big cons are unstable during hi speed, even you may feel lorry pushing you away while passing by. Heck, it even cant stand crosswind.  It is using axia platform, what do you expect. The door also looks nipis, I doubt it can stand side crash. For performance, bezza suffer in hi speed, like it needs extra push. If you put extra push around corners, please pray hard not to crash or overshoot.

But if you prefer hiway drive, speeding within 140-160kph, saga wayyy more stable and secure. Cornering more mantap. Big cons are, cvt rubbery feel, cvt jerk is obvious from stop to roll. Also unresponsive throttle in low speed. Then, it less comfy due to stiffer suspension setup. It gets worse when fully seated. However, it behaves best during hi speed and hi rpm.

Both fuel consumption almost the same either city or hiway drive. For maintenance, bezza is better in term of cost. Perodua always charge less than proton.

to me not style la... the convenience of having the key out and in the pocket.. u know, sometimes wear jean, korek here and there...

eehh.. how about bezza door also keyless right.. if not, then push start dun really makes a different d..

not in malaysia, they can call it brand new all they want, it's not
consumer themselves know that

UMW here is a ripoff and everybody know it, their model keep on facelift like forever
facelift but put "all new" on their poster

Saga is a budget car...they don’t have the money to redo everything la....dashboard is similar but diff,exterior is similar in shape but diff panel altogether,seats are diff
Proton made it official that it is the 3rd generation saga
Just because you are not being realistic expecting a proper B segment car type of update doesn’t mean the saga is not new

Saga is and always will be the most budget type of car any Malaysian can buy...that’s why they have the persona to fill up the ‘always new model’ replacement car

Act smart but over expecting

look at persona, that one u can call brand new, design totally different from previous model
different engine, different transmission, different suspension setup, different interior

Based on same platform doesn’t mean it’s not a new car..they just don’t have the budget to redo everything

Senang hati (bezza) vs sakit hati (saga) ?

haha... i see a few week ago in mall at my place. So beautifull and garang. Green color. Interior a bit small but full of gadget. Exterior look nice. Toyoto engine also good.
