BBC USES HUAWEI EQUIPMENT TO OPEN THE FIRST 5G LIVE TV BROADCAST IN THE UK!!!
https://img.gizchina.com/2019/05/Huawei-Device.mp4?_=1 sos Yesterday, the UK launched its first 5G commercial network service for consumers in six cities. Thus, after South Korea and the United States, the United Kingdom became the third country in the world to achieve 5G commercial use. EE, the UK’s leading mobile operator, launched a new generation of 5G network services in specific regions which includes London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham, and Manchester. Today, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) used the 5G network to do live broadcasts in a morning program. This is the first time the UK used 5G signals for live TV. The signal was provided by the EE but it was Huawei’s equipment that made the broadcast possible. Before the live broadcast, the show host shared behind-the-scenes footage on social media. In the video, he walked to the front of Huawei’s equipment on the OB van. He said that the Huawei device in the van is a very critical device, that has made BBC the first to successfully complete a live broadcast over 5G. Before the live broadcast, there was enormous free-flowing traffic and it had to be postponed for 15 minutes. After the United States government included Huawei in its entity list, the future of the company has been a topic of debate. While many believe that Huawei will be going under soon if it does not strike a deal with the US, it appears that the company has much more than smartphones to offer. ![]() This post has been edited by pattleongkam: Jun 1 2019, 12:56 AM |

nothing against huawei, their technology is good no doubt
but many people know about china's social credit system, see soro's concerns https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/24/davos-soros...en-society.html so china do forced surveillance on their citizens https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=18060543 with this trade conflict, huawei probably won't be able to use google play, google maps and accordingly huawei would use their own os that is android compatible https://www.androidcentral.com/huaweis-andr...olling-out-june the trouble would be that it's any one's guess about china's govt influence about the various aspects of that os, e.g. if the surveillance would after all be a 'build in' feature. talking about spying, this is much further than simply spying as i doubt any one would be happy to be monitored by a large authoritarian state. that said i don't think huawei would make this surveillance part of that. but china has shown itself that it want to control every aspects of their citizens life e.g. that china impose mandatory blocking of most western sites, e.g. google, facebook etc you can't access in china china has also been known to harass 'human rights' advocates who may be critical of the prc govt and are oppressive when handling them. this would be worse with the social credit system this is not right as a government to do that, if the country elects their own government, the government would normally think twice before introducing such things. this isn't just a us vs china problem. i think soros is right about all these, https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/24/davos-soros...en-society.html “I want to call attention to the mortal danger facing open societies from the instruments of control that machine learning and artificial intelligence can put in the hands of repressive regimes,” Soros said. “The social credit system is not yet fully operational, but it’s clear where it’s heading. It will subordinate the fate of the individual to the interests of the one-party state in ways unprecedented in history.” |

That's your opinion. In Trump's eyes he's acting in the best interest of Americans, and statistics reflect that. DJI is still record high.Haters, on the other hand, have to rely on politics of fear ie orange man bad. This post has been edited by MAGAMan-X: Jun 1 2019, 11:20 AM |
