Hi, i interested in this AL1x model since sony 8000g 65inch is too thick for me, and only 4 star energy.

-For me i like this thin and 5 star am i correct.?
-Hmm va panel means it is Japan sony panel? Or china made panel.
-Does this model have good side view angle like ips?
-Bytheway, new BK model already in market with price?
-does this panel rgb or rgbw panel? Can't find detail.
-cannot sure of its ram and storage size.

-Wanna ask its hdr mean hdr10?
-And does it build in a default file explorer for apk install? (Like sony got file- commmander)
-Does its speaker ok compare other brand at similar price range. (No intended to use soundbar etc)
-Does it come with motion function to view gaming/football, like sony etc.
-its Bluetooth can use for hand phone/soundbar also?

I already paired, but must point it to the tv only has response, or else it will not response.

I already bought an air mouse remote, still waiting to receive, hope better to use.

This tv is a good bargain, value for money, dont compare with sony lah, the price ao much difference, it write japan panel but not sure true or not.
Can intall the file explorer ourself, can play many things on it as it's android.
only down side is the remote controller, not Bluetooth, have to point on the tv to response.

"HDR" means HDR10, not HDR10+.
I dun think it is RGBW.

this TV runs on AndroidTV (ATV) os, which u may not have used before.
"built in" apps is not a meaningful term for ATV becos apps can be installed or removed from tv playstore or sideloaded via usb port.
for app installation and file management, u can easily install and use X-Plore app direct from the tv playstore.

others questions u raised...

.. the android inside is 2+16gb, u have 8-9gb available for use.
.. tv speakers are never good enuf... so, dun expect them to be super.
.. bluetooth is one-way - u can send audio to tv speakers but not from tv to ext speakers.

i cannot comment further as i do not have this tv but have the predecessor ua6800x which is very similar if not the same.

this tv is a value for money TV, not a super high performance tv - for that, u will need to spend >2 times as much.

Hi i had being using quite a numbers of andriod tvbox ,and hand on with sony x8000g recently.
So my concerns is as long as its seapker on par with normal tv then OK Liao.
I wish it can install other file explorer eg. File commander like the one on sony, more pretty ui.

If u r experiended user, u also know the diff between ATV and regular android.

U can sideload any file manager u like, most will be accepted.

Just dun force any app installation if the tv gives u warning.... this is to protect the tv from malware.

Hi, I have my RC paired with the TV, but doesn't seem to make any difference, I still have to point it at the IR sensor for it to work.

i am not sure if we can say Bk1x has higher specs than 6800x or al1x.
the 3 are very similar... in fact, the main features are identical - 4kHDR, AC wifi, Netflix 4k, Android (8 or 9), ATV os, Dolby Digital (only).
backlit, edgelit... i dunno enough if it makes a major diff for a certain size panel.

the data may be incorrect though.... but if they are correct:

.. bk1x has HLG; the other 2 doesn't.
.. bk1x has 3 hdmi ports; the other 2 have 4 (6800x all 4 at the back; al1x 2 back, 2 side)
.. bk1x has 2xusb2.0; the other 2 have 1xusb3.0 and 1xusb2.0
.. bk1x Bluetooth GATT/HID/A2DP; the other 2 GATT/HID - i do not know what the real diff is.

With BK1X in the market, perhaps an owner can start a new thread on this new model.

if u lose the pairing, the remote won't work properly... sluggish, wait for it, sometimes won't even go to where u want it to.
i suppose all IR devices work better if u point remote to the device in a clear line of sight.. i.e. it is not multi directional.

So it's not a Bluetooth RC like my previous LG?

if u mean can it display 10bit videos, answer is yes.

So back to my original question, what's the point of pairing the remote to the TV?
