QUOTE(tifosi @ May 8 2019, 02:46 PM) It's bumpy and floaty. But then generally people buy for the space, both boot and interior. I't not as bad as Aruz, Avanza that kind of setup, but still far cry from a good ride. If you want almost perfect ride, get the CX-3. It's tight, body roll just perfect between comfort and good handling. Ride on bumps and yellow markers is so sweet. Yes sat on latest CX5 before and felt much more balance. Definitely better experience than previous gen CRV. Too bad it is out of my budget.

The smaller the vehicle.... the more bumpy it will be. WHEELBASE difference is key. The greater the distance is from the front tyres to the rear tyres... the more comfort you will get. This is why a long car is always more comfy than a short car.

QUOTE(alcatrez @ May 8 2019, 02:44 PM) If looking for a good handling SUV, get the CX5. CX5 also consider bumpy.. even the new one due to good handling so the suspension setup seem to a bit harder.. comfy SUV? try harrier, even old model still very comfy.. or maybe old model X-trail

City also bumpy on the back passenger. Passenger wanna puke if drive normally. Need to drive extra gentle if ferrying ppl around.
I think generally Honda setup are more to handling thus sacrificing comfort.
Toyota on the other hand more biased to comfort so more body roll.

QUOTE(dman @ May 11 2019, 06:55 PM) I think generally Honda setup are more to handling thus sacrificing comfort. This is true. Nothing to do with torsion or multi link or indipendent. Most honda cars have stiffer rear spring compared to the front for handling bias.
