With ShopeePay Basic account, can i topup arbitrary amounts? eg. RM 15.22 instead of fixed rm10,20,50

Cause if it had been TNG card, that wld be a great indirect way to topup shopeepay on weekends with guaranteed 5% cb from MBB2 Amex CC .

First time Shopeepay made me uneasy.

Just now, Tried to top up in the app via MBB Amex CC, got some error, then refresh status it says "In Progress"... clicked on "Continue topup", it says "Temporary shopping jam"
Force closed the app, delete cache , to no avail.

But i already recv Sms notification of successful CC transaction, from Maybank. gg....

It's the only card saved in my app. I'm aware amex no rewards for ewallet topup, and I hv no other cards, so i just use it for convenience. Next time maybe I'll topup via FPX

After almost 2 hrs, topup status changed from InProgress to Failed. If i see the charge in amex statement, time to contact shoppee CS for refund

Those who experienced topup via CC blocked/banned, what is the error msg like?

is it something like this?
-initiate topup shopeepay via saved card
- error "topup failed", status goes to "In progress"
- you received Sms notification from bank of successful CC transaction to shopeepay
- after 1-2 hrs, topup status changes to "Failed"
- check CC statement after few days, nothing posted

How u know late April will have the 10%/20% (capped at RM10) again? It's a monthly affair?

I was on this page at midnight & saw the voucher available.

But couldn't redeem as the page showing "server error, pls refresh and try again". Even if i did not click anything the page will auto-redirect to "server error" page, every few secs.

Shopee App is fully updated, clear cache, force stop, reboot, etc.. still same

Maybe it's more accurate now to say, at a random time after midnight?
I went to bed after refreshing constantly until about 12.20am, only to find out the voucher reappeared later as per last few posts

Haha dunno why but just now at 10.49am i saw the 20% voucher suddenly available at 99% used. Managed to use it...

anyone know how to access that page from within the app?

Same issue on my older Android 8.1...their incompetent CS must hv received many complaints by now. Hopefully at least one of them forward it to the devs

Just tested in app. Under Shopee Prizes, it has disappeared. But if u go to https://shopee.com.my/m/BuyVoucherGetCoins ,your mobile browser shld open link in app. The "Buy" button seems to be working again now (i didn't proceed w/ payment)

I can't top up with MBB 2 Amex CC for few mnths dy. Always get error. Even though i can use the same card for normal Shopee purchases. Not sure if they ban me or something, i hv never made any withdrawal before...

That "order" should be showing as cancelled by now. Amex not usable for shopee bill payment.

As for why diff ppl see diff things, Well shopee did say they are "changing" the way they give vouchers starting june 1...what they didn't say is that they want to self-destruct by pissing off their most loyal users

Shopee does not reveal their algorithm, but from exp with my M2U Amex CC , they will ask OTP if u haven't used in a long time, or a big amount few hundred bucks

If this turns out to be true, then it's worse than CC. At least CC has interest-free period before they start chopping u.
